Henley’s is the name of this quirky little place, scarcely room to swing a very short cat although the bar area is quite long, room for about 30 good friends or 10 strangers. A group of locals treat this as their own and are always there. consequentially new customers must wait and wait and wait to be served at the bar — we found that the best way to get our refills was to sit in the conservatory — the staff pass by on way to who-​knows-​where and ask if we need anything from the bar… Good beer though.

This pub actually has «Henley’s Bap» (the leg of the r fell off 2 years ago) written on the front and nobody calls it «Doyle’s». Its what locals would call a local. Dingy, sour barstaff, sour landlord. Its cheap though…
The ladies toilet has «ladies only» handwritten underneath the symbol on the door for extra clarity.
It has some odd charm to it though…
