Brick Lane is changing, and for the better with a host of non Indian restaurants opening up and offering something different. Efes is one of a slew of Turkish restaurants that has opened up around London in the last couple of years and this site ticks all the right boxes. Some good hot bread served with all the right dips followed by a mouton of mixed grilled meats with rice and salad all washed down with some Turkish beer. Service was super quick and friendly and prices were on point. Seriously whats not to like?

So much flavour packed into a single dish! I got the Halep Kebab, which was a variety of minced kebab served in a spicy butter sauce(along with a grilled chili). The bread it was baked with sopped up the juices to make sure you got every last bit. Quick service and quite reasonable prices even for as popular as it seems to be. A great way to warm up from the chill outside!

Delicious food and an excellent gateway for your quick lunch break. I do order starters as the mains takes time to prepare. Good value for money. My favourite is Tavvuk Soup and Turkish coffee.

Walking around not exactly sober with a bunch of friends at 12:30 and we are craving a bite to eat. As we are strolling through Shorditch we found this Turkish restaurant and ran straight in. I do not know much about Turkish cuisine but Whatever was in my chicken wrap was incredible. This savory chicken was exactly what I needed in the soft luscious wrap. I am so glad we came here I don’t know what else I would have done. The waiters were very good to us and the chef was very passionate about his job which is a really nice thing to see. The waiters did like to play around with us for example one of them gave us a fake bill of £2 because it was the«eating inside bill» which I thought was funny but my friends didn’t. Either way at the end of the day my meal was very very good for Turkish takeaway and that’s all the matters to me. Come here if you can, don’t trust the other reviews.
