We had pizza which was fantastic and fish & chips which was ok. Service wasn’t that great, possibility because it was busy when we went.

Went for lunch yesterday 23rd December. Obviously busy. My daughter had a wrap with chips and I had sausage and mash.
The restaurant was busy as usual for a restaurant in the centre of London.
Food was edible but disappointing. Sausage colder than you would want, mash was colder too but ok. Hardly any gravy.
Service was good though but the quality was poor so my view is go elsewhere. There is plenty of competition.
Garfunkels used to be good but not so now.

I was treated to a meal here with work recently and I was quite surprised at how good it was! I’ve always been put off by the price in the past and the fact that there is one on every street in central London! I ordered a steak which was excellent (if not a little overpriced!) and stuck to the lemonades. The service was fine and atmosphere good, but I don’t think I would go back with my own money! There’s too many places I enjoy more!
