Hana Maria

I’ve been here a few times as their pizza is always consistent. The restaurant is only little but don’t let the décor put you off the yummy food. They are famous for their metre pizza but I’m not brave enough… or hungry enough to try it… perhaps you little piggies out there could handle it.
The restaurant also provides a delivery service — during a weekday night it can take about 40– 50 minutes to arrive. Once it arrives however, you forget how hungry you were before!

I ordered Hana Maria’s half metre long pizza for 5 of us from our seat at The fantastically floral Faltering Fullback. Pub’d up, peckish and peering over my shoulder at people opposite opening giant meter long boxes I realised that there were deliveries wafting in. Passionate knowledgeable Pizza is delivered by Luca & Valerio, only too happy to recommend an exquisite creation. Not 15 minutes later, I was chewing.
I’ve Never tasted such unique and for the first time, mature tasting Mozzarella on a pizza; Latte Fiore mozzarella di bufala with truly traditional San Marzano juicy sloppy sauce slathered on a light Crispy floury base, generously arranged Chorizo, Ham and Pepperoni a top.
Even especially personalised, a corner of the pizza just for me, extra basil and a perfectly (and it HAS to be) delicate soft egg, a Florentina with all the aforementioned toppings– topped my day!
Cowabunga! Pizza the ninja Turtles would approve of.
