The best little place ever in the world! Ice and Slice is based on a little cobbled street not far from Fulham Broadway tube. They do gorgeous pizzas and incredible gelato. My friend recently moved to Fulham and was complaining there wasn’t a gelateria anywhere, so I took her to this little gem and she now can’t stay away. As soon as we arrived, the staff(who are lovely, friendly and chatty) offered us tasters of all the different gelato(all amazing) and they’re all really good prices. We sat to enjoy our treat, then noticed a sign saying on a Thursday they do wine or beer or soft drink plus all you can eat pizza for £10 — amazing. We’re definitely making this our regular. The last little bonus of Ice and Slice is it is linked to the little Italian café over the road called Shot(I think they’re owned by the same person) so you can to and fro between the two. Shot is also amazing with Aperol Spritz galore, and an abundance of antipasti in the evening… but that’s for another review.

This is basically my new favourite place to eat. The premise is simple: Ice(cream) &(pizza)Slice. The guy making the pizza is from Rome and a pizza genius. This pizza is just like the stuff you get in Italy, long rectangular slabs of pizza, sold by the — GIGANTIC — slice, for between £3 and £5, depending on the toppings. And the ice cream? It’s the stuff dreams are made of, soft, creamy, delicious gelato swirled artfully into a waffle cone or cardboard cup and drizzled with chocolate; from a chocolate tap no less — a mesmerising liquid feature that you can’t stop staring at as you devour your pizza slices.
