I needed to replace my broken screen and went to the branch in King’s Rd. They did not have the colour I wanted and sent me to Victoria, giving me a discount on top. Screen replaced, So far so good. As soon as I got home I realised the screen quality was slightly under the original Apple ones. I put my phone next to another iPhone 5C: the difference was obvious. My new screen rendered a bit more pixelated. This led me thinking the quality was not equal to Apple. A couple of weeks later, my phone slipped out of my pocket as I was laying on my sofa, 15 cm from the carpeted floor: the screen broke again! I mean… really? I went back to the Victoria branch for help. They were very reluctant to inspect the phone, eventually briefly opened it, and concluded it was not due to their fault. I insisted the new screen was not as good quality as the original, or perhaps they screwed it back to a point it accentuated fragility on the screen. No commercial gesture whatsoever. Fair enough, but at least a polite attitude would have been appreciated. This keeps me thinking they know the type of crap they do sell for £90!
