We had an afternoon after a wild night for my birthdate highways a perfect combo for waking us up and giving us some energy.
Hot chocolate and a wide range of bakery and mini sandwich.
However there forgot about the smoked salmon ones and they gave us away 2 Apple drinks take away !

Always great to bump into a PV.
Small shop, at the edge of CG so a kind of need to know shop to find it. Could easily have walked passed.
My interaction with the person serving was polite and quick with the providing of my hot chocolate. As, nearly always, the hot chocolate could have been hotter but, tasty as always.
Further back in the entrance (where you get served for take away) it looked to be the café area but, didn’t get that far.

Very cute Patisserie. I had the Tea for 2. It comes with a pot of tea of your choice. I chose English Breakfast Tea and you get 3 fresh raisin scones, clotted devon cream, and fruit preserves. The scone is not as dry but not too moist either. There is nothing like eating warm fresh biscuits. The tables are very small and tight spaces but it works. Clean and service is wonderful.
My daughter had the Mille Feuille. I know it as Napoleon. The pastry here is much different as the cream is thicker like a custard. My all time favorite is from Gelson’s. If I have to compare, I must say Viktor Benes Bakery steals my heart. I know, shame on me!

I went to Patisserie Valerie a few weeks ago with my housemate and her friend. We were looking for a quick stop before going for dinner with a few more friends.
We had tea, Latte and a smoothie. Tea and Latte were as expected but the smoothie was really really good! If you want a cake, also go there!
Nice location, very central, just sometimes a little hard to find space. So make a booking or come at a quiet time to ensure you’ll get a table. :-)

I do love this patisserie. The staff here is gorgeous! so lovely and chatty.
It’s great to come around to spot beautiful people in the area, afternoons and such — very friendly.
Try the salads, they’re great!
As for croissants, only take them in the morning when they’re fresh.
