Pylones

Now this is a fun store, both for the young and old and for the man and the lady. Glass rings in all shapes and forms, filled with pearls and sparks and diamonds (–isch) and colored water. Hand made in Paris, they say. Still trying to figure that one out…
But so much more in both fun and practical stuff. Great for presents, good for lifting up your home a notch and just to make life a little bit more fun.
And the service is of course pretty good. Hey, it’s England! Which I have had more time and more money and I would bring so much more stuff home with me.

This shop is truly a riot of colour. You could never expect to be able to handle all of this visual information without throwing up but somehow, in some way, you remain unaffected. The ground floor of this place sells some really unusual goods — we’re talking picture frames with the frame made out of tightly rolled magazine bits, giant ornamental and colourful hairbrushes and rice bowls that look so undeniably cute. There aren’t really many clothes on sale here I must say, perhaps a niche they should be looking into? Who knows. Their shop is very popular and they also do a good line in watches — also male watches, unusual as the rest of the goods are strictly female only. The music is bubbly and bouncy, providing the right kind of atmosphere. A great place to shop for a girlfriend or a female relative under the age of 9! (Thats a joke, it’s good for all girls really).
