Sea Horse

A small yet extremely inviting pub right on Queen Victoria Street, about equidistant from the Tube stops at Bank and Blackfriars, right across the street from Mansion House, and a short walk from numerous nearby offices and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
We found this place by accident after leaving a nearby office and it suddenly starting to rain. A pint sounded nice, and their selection was both good and cheap. Service was friendly and fast, and most helpfully they will take American Express and hand you a numbered card so that you don’t have to shout out your name or tab number to charge future rounds against.
Now — on the topic of crowds, this pub isn’t huge, but it does get quite busy. The stealth fusball table in the left back corner of the bar (by the stairs to the toilets) is rarely relinquished, but there is good seating along the windows and on the industrial-​looking tables in front of the mounted televisions.
All in all, Sea Horse has a clean and modern pub look and is at a very convenient location to drop in to for a drink or three.

This is a great little secret, if like me you get stuck in the city of an evening and are looking for a late bar that is not a sleazy club or 80’s throwback adventure.
Run by a lovely Asian family and they serve chips and food till way later than you would expect. There’s a secret fuseball table on one side and darts on the other. But the décor is not that of a regular pub, its lovely and bright and new looking.
The music is always terrible pop on the tv, but can be immensely enjoyable when its 1.30am and you’ve had a few with your workmates.
The staff are always chilled and friendly. The pub is right beside mansion house and a load of nightbuses at St. Paul’s Cathedral, so getting home is not impossible.
Its a local for me after work hours and its definitely worth is look into if you’re in the area after dark.

This is a small, cosy, nice pub. It’s run by a group of asian guys (there may be some girls, too– not sure).
It’s super clean and nice and small and in the middle of everything. A good place to stop in. You’ve probably passed it in a taxi rather a few times.
Stop in. It’s got a great menu. Good beer. Nice service. And they always seem to be cleaning everything.
