Specsavers

This branch of Specsavers was not the greatest I had walked in. The staff were nice and friendly however but the environment did not entice me as much as others I have been in to.

I’d been a customer at Specsavers Lewisham for five years. On moving to Kentish Town I tried my local Specsavers branch in Camden. It was a mistake.
On calling I said I wanted to move my file from Lewisham and make the latest appointment in the day I could as I worked till 5.30pm. We set an appointment for 5.50pm. On my way to the appointment I called to say I would be five minutes late. I was told not to bother coming as they closed at 6pm and that the person doing my eye test would have gone home. Furious I decided still to go. The store was still busy and I was shown a seat to wait. After twenty minutes I was eventually told they hadn’t received my file and that I’d have to book another appointment. After a week of calling my file apparently never arrived.
I decided to dump the Camden branch and returned to Lewisham. Incidentally the Lewisham team had sent my file almost two weeks previous.
I’m sure the Camden Specsavers is better than the above sequence of events, but I’ve lost faith in them.
