Food was absolutely horrible. Really bad. Sausages disgusting. What’s worse is no one asked how our food was even though we barely ate half of it! They should have been switched on and asked, then offered a refund. Never going back.

I ordered take away and had a good experience. However, this is not American food. In California we don’t eat hot dogs with«cheesey coleslaw» and pineapple. The other«American» dishes are only as American as the English style American cheese. They don’t have pickles nor plain yellow mustard. American beers, where are you?

I’m sorry I didn’t realize a Resturant /sports pub can actually destroy an experience with a simple burger ! The place is a sports pub and has a nice selection of beer, they are nice and cold . And surprisingly they also have good selection of Italian wines HOWEVER ! I walked in & noticed not manny people were eating(that should of been a clue) . I ordered calamari, you get less than a hand full and placed in a wooden bowel and it tasted like old oil /fishy(not fresh, you can tell it was from a frozen bag). The chili sauce it comes with tasted good but you can tell the chili sauce came out of a jar . The burger: tasted as old cardboard with no flavor /seasoning. I wanted to go into the kitchen to teach the chef how to make a good med– rare burger however there is little you can do with frozen meat . The ciabatta bread it comes with tasted ok. The bacon is thick cut, but it came med — rare The waitress: was as bad as the frozen Flavorless burger they put on your plate. So, just go for the beer and the games on the tv.

Was visiting London and at the time I didn’t have wifi(or access to Unilocal). I walked into this place and took a chance because it was crowded and I was hungry! Calamari as appetizer — paired with a chili sauce, not bad but very small portion. I ordered a cheese burger — it tasted like a frozen meat patty with absolutely no flavor. I don’t know what type of bun it was but it was nothing to rave about either. The place was overpriced for the quality of food. I guess it’s the type of place you got for a drink(from what I observed). My waitress was not friendly at all. i totally regret this experience! Don’t waste your money on food here.

Use this place all the time as convenience. Food has gotten worse over time but still not awful. Staff are always friendly and the managers go out of their way to make sure you enjoy the experience. The only disappointment is the food quality, chefs seem to change all the time and the meat seems to be a cheaper version of the one you’ll have had a few weeks ago.

This bar appears at first sight to be a good sports bar, in terms of the clean design and number of tvs. However, they seem to lose sight that it’s sports bar. Whenever I visit, the volume is hardly heard over the other noise. I once asked the supervisor to turn it up, and she replied that the volume is already switched on. «But we can’t hear it» was followed by a reluctant response to turn it up a «little bit». Change the name to the Dog & Duck and stop pretending you are a sports bar.

We here twice in one week during the World Cup. I was really skeptical of it when I went in there the first time. A pub next to a station? It just sounds sketchy but I was wrong. This place was roomy and there were lots of screens to watch the game on both the upper and lower floor. I was also surprised that getting beers at the tables or at the bar was really efficient for a busy bar. The burger and chips are decent. The wings are okay, nothing to write home about. If you want a pub vibe for a sporting event then this is not for you. This is a sports bar as the name suggests.

Spacious two floor bar with ample TV screens showing football with commentary. Expensive beer though and in plastic glasses. Disappointing!

I had an excellent experience here. We didn’t have a reservation for NFL playoffs but the security guard and a friendly waiter were very sweet, encouraging, and worked with us to scope out a table. The waiter Scott was a gem. They didn’t let the place get too crowded and our waiter hustled to get us our burgers which despite not being cooked rare enough were decent. The wings that our neighbors ordered looked and smelled good. We had a great view of the many screens from our table and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend on game day.

Great place to watch American football and all things NFL! They have one game on a full screen and four games on a split screen. Then repeat and apply to all of their other TVs in the bar. There are a lot of people watching football in the downstairs area on Sunday evenings.

Sometimes I wish for half star options, because a place is somewhere between A-Ok and I’m a fan! Of course then I would probably want quarter stars sometimes too. Nonetheless, Sports Bar and Grill is a three and a half star place. I ended up having dinner with two friends there a few weeks back because we had been Marylebone and one friend said it was the best burger he’d had in London. I’m not sure that’s the case for me, but it was certainly a good burger. The fries were much more captivating. They put on a special seasoning(which they charge for but fail to mention that they charge for), but it really makes the fries unique among London fries. Oh shoot, I mean chips. You leave London for a week and forget all the important things. Nonetheless, it’s a good place if you want a sports bar, which are much farther and fewer between in London than now that I’m back in the States. It would be great on game day(any game!) though.

I came here for the first time for Thanksgiving dinner. They do a pretty good spread — which really looks more like a sunday roast with pumpkin pie really. I think it’s definitely much better than going to Bodean’s of thanksgiving day. The place is huge so you can go there with a big party — and won’t feel rushed to leave. I never really watched American football back home but it’s def the place to be if you miss it.

I would genuinely like this place to be great as I live 2 streets over and am also a fan of American football. That said, this place left a lot to be desired: — Pints of average beer are 4.50, which was higher than I paid in tourist heavy areas. The food is also overpriced. — A certain male bartender never brought me change. Maybe my Yankee-tinged accent made him assume I’d tip and he saved me the trouble, but I prefer to retain that option. — I sat myself in an TV-friendly area and was asked to leave so they could prep it for the next day. I wasn’t eating or messing anything up, but was still asked to move. It’s a bit odd for a sports bar to be half-quarantined at 10:30 pm — In my new seat I got to watch a staff member consolidate the condiments What this means is that restaurants will typically take two half-bottles of ketchup, for example, and funnel them into one, keeping the inventory flowing. — this staff member used her fingers to push excess sauce from one jar into the next. This didn’t happen once, but over and over in plain sight(though she was quick to wipe fingers clean with paper towels). In other words, ever jar of every sauce was fingered by this waitress. She also bit her nails and worked the cash register without washing, which is when I decided to never eat here in the future. — I overheard another patron complain about portion size, and they were told basically«that’s the way it is.» So overall, I like the physical space but think it’s overpriced, under-managed and unfortunately behaves not like a great local pub, but rather an anonymous cash machine in a train station. In other words, their attitude is to show us the finger(unless it’s busy stirring the sauces and condiments).

Was in London on business and this bar & grill was 10 minutes walk from my hotel. Was just what I was looking for — a place with slightly better food than fried/traditional pub food and ability to watch English Premier League. Ended up going 3 times over the week. Slightly classier menu, I tried the no-carb chicken sandwich, the lamb burger and a salad. All were much better than expected. Highly recommend the lamb burger. Aside from that, there are probably 15 large screen TVs on the main level, and another 5 or 6 downstairs. It is exactly what it sounds like — a sports bar. They play most football matches, and rotate between sports news, rugby and cricket otherwise.

The Sports Bar & Grill is unashamed about what it is… a giant American style sports bar with too many to count Plasma TVs. It’s a great place to catch a game, and the endless selection of TVs will ensure they’ll be showing your game somewhere. They are one of the few bars that also regularly show American sports… the Bar & Grill stayed open late in January(till nearly 4am) to allow a 100 of so rowdy Americans watch the NFL playoffs. Yes that was the epic game where the Giants beat the 49ers in over-time. The food and service are a bit lacking(we asked for water 4 times, and eventually had to send someone from our table to fetch a jug), but if you are in the look out for a large space to watch sports, give this place a go.

Best wings I had in London. This place was a great place to catch all the Sunday games. If you get a little homesick for the states and need a american sports bar feel, this is your place!

I arrived with fellow Unilocaler Dza D. to watch a little bit of some american football. Dza’s pretty wild about football so while he was watching the tele i was drinking cider. The décor was made to impress macho males. Ladies, if you’re single and looking to meet a rough and tumble bloke, you should plant your tushy on a seat and the men will come to you. Seriously, when we left it was a sausage fest. We ordered some grub from a very sweet and friendly irishman who served us downstairs in what felt like my uncles man den or recroom in the 70’s. It was just dark and manish. Anyway, back to the food. I had the hummus and pita platter, auntie had a salad that she enjoyed and Dza D. had hot wings which he enjoyed at the moment but didn’t so much when the stomach ache reared its ugly head. My hummus platter was really nice, came with olives and was a healthy alternative to the rest of the stuff I saw being served. Also on Sundays theres a cool group of dudes from the U-S-of-A hosted by an american comedian. It was pretty entertaining and they even offered contests and video game playing before the games start. And to the girlfriends of dudes who don’t really care to watch the game, if you see me there come right over and lets hang out! I don’t care for football but I enjoy the beer aspect.

Just move to London and it was opening weekend for the NFL. Did a search on Unilocal and the only place I could find was super touristy, had a dance floor and just sounded awful. Luckily someone else mentioned that this place showed NFL games so I thought I would give it a try and I’m glad we did. The place has two levels with a lot of TVs. Good seating down stairs with another bar and some pool tables. Food was ok but a decent beer selection and that is all I will ask for the ability to watch some NFL. A bunch of Yanks were there to watch the opening weekend and were really nice, sounds like they will be doing games there each weekend. Overall it’s a great place to watch a big game and the NFL!

You know how not many things can be bad when they’re covered in either cheese or bacon? The same goes for sports bars when they’re smothered in TVs and beer. With so much of those crucial ingredients around, it doesn’t matter that we’re in poshy posh central London and the nachos are weak-sauce, this is a pretty damn good sports bar. The place was bananas during Chelsea v Liverpool, and it was quite clear who the Americans were when NFL was switched on and we were the only remaining patrons. But with pool tables, quick and friendly service and tons of seating, I can imagine this to be a fantastic spot to view any given sports match. And I’ve gotta say, after all the doting on booze and NFL and massive TV screens, I consumed one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever eaten.(The nachos definitely need some work.)

where else can you find 11 sets of 52″ sony bravia lcd tvs??? my planned pilgrimage to bicester outlet mall landed me here! i was meeting a friend to catch a train to bicester from marylebone station and the first thing that caught my eye was this bar and grill. boy was i lucky as i was fumbling all morning wondering how to catch the tri nations rugby game between new zealand and australia. by the time i stepped in, the game was already approaching half time. but perfect for me to make my orders for coffee and brekkie! this place has high ceiling and is very well ventilated. not your usual stuffy small corner pub. it is also very clean and not reeking of alcohol. the well spaced tv screens and ample seating makes this a go to sports bar with a grill as a bonus. i’m really impressed that they actually splurge on SONY! maybe sony made them a deal they couldnt refuse.:) one major complain, my latte was weak! but they are after all a bar and grill and not a coffee joint!!:) my full english breakfast though expensive at 8.45 quid, tasted like a gourmet affair. instead of your normal tomatoes, you get vine ripened cherry tomatoes. the grainy toasts were made into bite sizes and each coated with melted butter. back bacon was grilled till really crispy and not overly salty. sausage was premium in type and size. the bake beans however were overly mushy suggesting to much stirring or lousy beans. grilled mushrooms and 2 fried eggs completed the ensemble. a modern sports bar that scores a definite visual appeal.
