Have been to strip in soho or one new change for a while for bikini waxes since Buty Salon in Fulham closed.
Recently did the first session of a course of laser treatment. Have been amazed with the results after just one session! Highly recommend they really have a great machine!

Strip Wax is by far my favorite wax salon chain. Professional, and less painful
(«lycon» wax does make a difference!). Pricey tho.

Recently started going to Strip in Fulham road — and I will be going back. Great on technique, hygiene (they don’t double dip, superbly well trained therapists, quick) I have been waxing/​brazilians for the last 20+ years, and have sensitive skin, so calling me overly fussy is an understatement.

Had a great experience at Strip!
Went here for my first Brazilian in London, and was very skeptical. I am so used to my girl at home, so I was definitely nervous to be trying someone new in a new country. But the process was by far the least painful Brazilian I’ve ever had! I got the chocolate wax (which looked/​smelled just like melting chocolate) and I swear there was NO pain! It was crazy and so unexpected!
Each room is themed differently and are beautifully decorated. There was a small flat-​screen TV in my room and I got to relax while watching How I Met Your Mother — needless to say, I was feeling great!
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is it’s just SO pricy! 55 pounds… OUCH!

Very good service, although I was made to wait for about 20 minutes, as they were running late (Although I’d managed to get a last minute appointment.) They were very professional and was I was made to feel very comfortable, seeing as this was my first wax ever. My particular technician went through what she was doing and the steps that she was taking (e.g. the single dipping of spatulas etc) which made me feel completely at ease.
Slightly on the higher end of the price range for the waxing regimes, however

Not sure why others claim the waxing at Strip is ‘painless’. It is true that strip wax is marginally less painful than normal waxing but, let’s face it, waxing is– and will never be– pain free. That said, if I must put myself through torture there is no better place to do so (although Ministry of Waxing on South Molton St is comparable). The rooms are all individually decorated and the place has nice, thoughtful touches like sanitary products in the loo and baby wipes in the rooms.
I’ve been using Strip since it opened over three years ago and I’ve almost never had the same therapist (admittedly, I’ve never asked for the same girl as I’m not good with names!) The skills and attention to ‘wax detail’ varies a lot so if you find a therapist who does a good job, I’d ask for her by name the next time you book and appointment.
It’s not very cheap. I’m on a second set of a courses (from memory, buy six, pay for five) but once the course I’m on is done I won’t be getting another one. The thing I liked (note past tense) was that one could use the course at any of the branches. Since Strip has expanded into the City and West End, however, they’ve stopped allowing courses to be used across branches which makes it much less convenient for me as I liked to have the choice of going to a branch near home or near work. I believe this is because the branches are franchised out. But, honestly, should that be the customer’s problem?

Hello new favorite. They let me watch «Friends» on a flat screen in the room while getting my business done. Seriously, it’s cheaper than most places I’ve been in the area. The girls are incredibly lovely — happiest people I’ve encountered in London to date. They put you in these gorgeous rooms at womb-​like temperatures and everything smells good and feels great.
A pretty setting for you to get pretty.

A sister salon to the Strip in Notting Hill, this opened around a year or so ago. The salon is a little bigger than the Notting Hill one and slightly nicer. It is on the pricey side but more luxurious than the standard salon so probably worth it.
