So we visited this pizzeria on its second day of trading. It seems as though all the staff are Italian. So it is very much a family run business. They were very inviting and we did gamble as there was no one in the Resturant, it was early evening though. The interior is bright and welcoming you walk past the large traditional pizza oven on the way in. We would have sat by it but they had the door open and it wasn’t the warmest of evenings. The menu is what you would expect from a pizzeria, although the layout is a little strange as they list a type of small pizza before the starters. When I asked if I could have one of them as a starter I was told«no it’s to big» so me thinks they just need to review the menu layout. The actual size of the starters is huge, just check out my pics!!, but very tasty(mine could have used a little bit more bread to go with my ball of motsurella) I had a Calzone for my main which was of a good size and very filling. It was slightly different from the calzones I have had previously, as it had a ricotta filling. The thing that made it really stand out as a ‘new’ Resturant was when we enquired about desert… none until Monday!!! We will go back to see if they have solved the desert issue and try some of the other pizzas on offer.
