The New World Accommodation

very very bad! moving in was fine but it was the moving out that was a nightmare. i checked out at 4pm from my room and they charged me 60 something pounds for staying an extra night over my contract. my contract expired on 24^th june and i checked out on 24^th june at 4pm yet they charged me an extra night stay! i called them to tell them that i didnt know there was a checkout time but they said that its written on the contract that we are to leave at 11UNFORTUNATELY its not stated ANYWHERE on the contract!
I sopke to legal aid, sent them a scanned copy of the contract and they have seen my contract and said that since it is not stated anywhere on the contract that there is a checkout time, i am not liable for it. but they have already charged it from my refund! my only choice is probably to take them to court now! but i am still fighting for it! and over the phone, they SIMPLY refused to listen to me when I told them that it is in fact not on the contract! they said no its there on the first page! it wasnt!
these people offer student accomodation as well. so as a student, i am telling you guys go somewhere else. students already dont have much money and these people are out to make it at any cost! they think its fine to bully students and defrauad them! I have already told all my friends who are looking for accomodation to absolutely NOT go here!
PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE of these people. when it comes to getting the money from you they are sooo nice and quick but when it comes to giving money back they make unnecassary, illegal and downright fraudulent charges! choose some other property company guys and save yourself the trouble!
