If you like chocolate, you will love Thorntons. I always remember the little stores having cafes when I was younger but they don’t seem to do this now which is a shame as their hot chocolate was to die for!
For those of you with a sweet tooth, this place will certainly satisfy your chocolate needs and if you come to the Surrey Quays branch, they also serve ice cream. There is a huge variety of different chocolates — bagged chocolates, chocolate bars, boxes, and the ones you can buy individually from the counter. They also provide a service whereby you can make personalised chocolate plaques.
It actually isn’t too expensive and the shop often has good sales meaning it is more tempting to buy more! The only thing I have noticed with this branch is that the staff are incredibly slow so you will usually queue for a good while.
Good for gifts and naughty indulgence!
