Traffic People

So Traffic People is a funny place, at least if you’re not from the UK. It’s got some really super trendy, kind of over the top pieces, and some really cute, good quality, very wearable pieces that are a little more hidden. And it’s all pretty cheap, so if you’re looking for a little bit of over the top, it’s not a bad place to find it. However, the staff is pretty hilarious– I actually had to ask the girl to ring me up, as she was just that busy texting on her phone, which must have had a dying battery as she absolutely could not unplug it. I mean, I’m not looking for awesome service or anything, but she was pretty much ridiculous. So, there’s that. But I did get a dress that my partner in crime adores and that I’ve already worn for 12-​hour days walking around cold cities and 12-​hour days of just work with equal ease, pleasure, and numerous compliments. That speaks fairly highly of the place; just know that I (with partner) had to do all the finding of items, etc., with absolutely no help. (In general, I found that UK retail staff was way less pushy than in the US, and that’s great. This just took it a little further than not pushy, to the actually refusing to be helpful stage.)
