So excited this café reopened in wapping. It’s been closed since I moved into the area. I enjoy and am a regular at their sister café Cinnamon. Turks Head is a bigger version of Cinnamon which is great as there is plenty of space to sit. I quiet enjoy arm chairs by the candle full fire place. With a open kitchen, it’s a great atmosphere. Great coffee and selection of cakes.(Not as great as cinnamon) Its a good selection of gluten free options, such as there popular brownies, and loaves. During the day they have brunch with a number of omelette choices and eggs. There is soup of the day or baguettes for lunch. In the evening drinks and a tapas menu, which I haven’t tried yet. My negatives are you can tell the staff are still new and they don’t have as great a cake selection as cinnamon. Looking forward to my next dirty chai and trying the tapas

Excellent breakfast — fried slice, eggs, beans, and bacon. Couldn’t ask for more! Great neighborhood, very friendly service. Recommend making the trek even if staying in Central London, as it’s a lovely walk. Can’t wait to go back in September!

It’s a shame that this place is no longer a pub. Captain Kidd had his last beer here before being hanged. That said, they serve a respectable breakfast for £5 and the people that run it are rather pleasant.
