I really like this pub. The pub could offer you a very good range of food and drink choices. Further more, they have discount when you buy food and drink together. Moreover, I would like to recommend the burger in the shop. The price was very good when you take the meal deal with the drink and the quality was great. Highly recommended.

I am not a fan of the Walkabout in any form. However, as many Londoners have found out, one invariably lands up there at some stage during any extended period in the UK. Personally, I’d find Walkabout a lot more fun if I was poured a Snakebite(beer, cider and cranberry juice) by a Steve Erwin-lookalike who gave me a fully accented rundown of the ill after-effects. The music is pure, unadulterated cheese, so if you’re in the habit of gyrating to DJ Sammy while imagining yourself some sunshine, the Walkabout Wimbledon might be a good choice. It must be said though, that sometimes they do have decent bands and comedic performances, but most of the time I just prefer to use the Walkabout Wimbledon’s central location as a means of giving directions.

Its previous incarnation as Chumley’s Wine bar tells you that the influx and residency of South Africans, Australians and Kiwis are not as old in the SW19 area as the English drinking habits. Howeverthis place has a bad reputation for a number of reasons. Firstly, because people primarily come here to get drunk. Secondly, because the door staff can be difficult for no reason, thirdly because local residents hate it and its ‘crowd’ and finally because it is the sort of place that used to put on a disco when it didn’t have a license for dancing and would ask you to stop dancing on the dancefloor at the back. Overall it is walkaboutso it sells kangaroo burgers, double vodka and red bull for £3.10 and aussie/kiwi beers in bottles for £1.60 midweek. Oh and finally, the toilets are at the very back and they are manky to say the least.

An old Antipodeans favourite, Walkabout is legendary. The walkabout Wimbledon must be one of the oldest, most poorly designed and smallest but it is also one where there is the most fun to be had. An evening there is unpredictable and could end up with dancing on the stage, raucous storytelling or fervent sport support. At heart a pub, drinks are average priced with pints around the £3 mark. There is a large variety of food that is all quite good, although it is worth checking what is in stock as they ‘run out’ pretty regularly. Snacks from £3 and mains from £6 there is something for everybody. Walkabout also has regular specials that make it more attractive, although these mainly happen during the week.
