Great food, nice looking restaurant, modern and clean mostly(dining area clean, downstairs towards toilets not so clean), also to note the toilet is tiny. In the Mens, the toilet seat is located under a slope in the roof making it uncomfortable to stand doing a number 1. As I said the food taste great. Good selection of Korean food, with addition of some Japanese dishes such as Udon noodle dishes. The restaurant also features some Korean music in the background. The staff are a mixed, some helpful, others don’t seem to care. Although they always seem to try to find some excuse to not change the food, even if you have a problem. For example, the food may arrive not as described, but the staff will otherwise say that the food you receive is correct. Overall Yori is good for anyone in the area looking for an alternative to Chinese food(Chinatown), fast food or Pizza. Yori can be good vaule food if you include a Tastecard.

Hmm, tried the hotpot and cold noodles, I’d say it was okayy but not great. I personally think the flavor’s kinda weak.

Meh. It was okay. Fried chicken had a decent flavor, but no spice. Seafood pancake was mediocre. Service was hit or miss. If you want great Korean just walk to Naru instead. Too many other good options in the area. Doubt I’ll come back here.

Food is filling and tasty. There’s a lunch menu, which is a good option. The service is not bad, though it could be better. The normal prices are reasonable, even while being slightly higher than your average Korean restaurant. There’s also a noticeable lack of background music, which is odd, if nothing else…

This was my first Korean BBQ experience, and I really enjoyed it. I loved the BBQ hotplate in the table, although I was a little unsure at first whether I was supposed to be doing the cooking… As it turned out, I wasn’t. For the bbq we ordered squid and beef. Then we got some rice, vegetables and the crispy chilli chicken. They also brought out some complimentary sides, and while I had no idea what they actually were, they were delicious(I asked later and one of them was definitely potato…) It’s such a quick and tasty option for dinner in the West End, and perfect for sharing — which I am a big fan of. I will definitely be back with a group so we can order everything on the menu at once.

I hadn’t had Korean food in London for a while, so this was a nice evening treat with a friend(2014⁄08). The restaurant was open late and the service was very nice and friendly. We ordered a mix of vegetarian dishes and meat dishes, and they all came very quickly from the downstairs kitchen. The vegetarian dishes(veg bibimbap, kimchi pajeon, veg ddokbogi) were fine, but I preferred the flavours and textures of the kanpoongi and ojinga bokkum which were very good. All in all, a nice restaurant with the usual Korean fare.

I’m actually really disappointed with this place — DISCLAIMER — I HAVENOTEATENHERE. My friend was visiting from overseas and wanted to meet up for lunch. This place is conveniently near, and I found out they were on the 2 for 1 offer on tastecard. I called up to book for 4 people and the lady who picked up the phone was so dismissive, her answers so curt, that I was quite taken aback. It wasn’t even like she was a Korean having problem understanding English or speaking English. She sounded very competent, but she made it sound like I was not worth her trouble and why was I bothering her so early in the day? I booked 4 people for lunch, and mentioned the Taste Card offer. She said I needed 2 taste cards for 4 people. This isn’t mentioned on the taste card website and so should not apply. I could not use 1 taste card for 2 people and the other 2 people pay full price. I must have 2 taste cards. The logic of this, I cannot understand. My overseas friend decided she didn’t want to come here afterall, and I couldn’t blame her.

Somehow I always end up at Leicester Square when I’m hungry. There are so many great food options in Soho, Chinatown and Covent Garden nearby, I’m glad Yori is here to add some more Korean flavour to the area. Food: I ordered soon tofu but was really nervous that it’s not gonna turn out well. The waiter promised me it’s going to be good(«I’m Korean and I like it»), and he was right. Now, it’s probably not as authentic as the ones you’d get from tofu house, but it’s very tasty in its own way. The soup was boiling hot, spicy and flavourful. The rice were not too sticky nor too dry. They even had a few free appetizers. Others: The restaurant was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Staff were all friendly. Even though it’s right next to the touristy Leicester Square, the street it’s on is actually very quiet. The price was reasonable too. Great for a quality meal before/after theatre, or between shoppings.

Amazing awesome food Went with a friend and the atmosphere is great they don’t rush you through the meal and they are very helpful. Average price for side dish is £3−4 starter dish is £6−8 BBQ meat is £9−11 Rice is £1.50 We ordered the Crispy chilli chicken/pork which is amazing the spice is enough for a flavour without overpowering and the crispy shell is great the sauce is enough to have with your rice as well, great portion size Then the kimchi rice cake is yummy again not too spicy portion size is good for sharing. The beef BBQ is heaven with the pepper and oil dipping sauce you could easily wish to order 2⁄3 more servings of this(the portion is enough for two people sharing) The pork BBQ is great The chicken BBQ is ok but nothing special stick with the seafood/beef/pork The ribs are good The raw beef was a new thing for me the texture is ok as the beef is cut into delicate strips and because it is served very very cold/chilled then you don’t really think of it as odd being raw. The flavour is quite nice The range of drinks from sake to organic juices is a great selection Please go visit the place is a definite hit ;) xxx

I love it when non-Koreans take me to a Korean restaurant I haven’t been to yet. I’ve been taking Korean language classes at the Korean Cultural Centre and decided to join the group of classmates to grab some dinner at Yori after class. I’ve walked by Panton st a number of times but completely missed this place. I heard it changed ownership around January of this year and it has greatly improved. When I walked in, I was surprised how big the place was. It was packed for a Wednesday night and majority of the people there were Korean — tells you it’s gotta be good. They have a really extensive menu — I was so indecisive about what I wanted to eat but finally decided to have the spicy squid and pork over rice. It was really good. We had japchae to share as a starter but it came out after our mains — we didn’t mind. I picked at some of the other dishes and the chicken bulgogi was really good. It was perfectly seasoned and so tender. The seafood stir fry udon was okay — probably something I wouldn’t order next time. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes since its so close to my office. Most of the dishes are under 10 pounds and the portions are pretty substantial.
