Banyan Bar & Kitchen

Great welcome, the ambiance is lovely. Multi level seating and dining areas, I really want to come and try one of the private dinning rooms. Great to be able to see straight into the kitchen. Nice cosy chairs, Food was really good quality and matched by the drinks. I’m going to really be happy coming back here time after time again,

The place is great! Just opened up a few weeks ago, and I gave it a shot while the new paint smell still filled the air.
The avocado toast=WOW. The avocado was fresh, and so was the bread. I can also recommend fillet for dinner, and pancakes for something sweeter.
The pros:
1) Breakfast here is great. Plenty of healthy options, that are also tasty!
2) The fillet. What can I say? They make a mean steak.
3) Ambiance. Good atmosphere for a date.
The Cons:
1) A weird payment system. Unless you order at the bar and pay with cash, you have to give them your credit card to hold on to. They put it in a little safe, and give you the key to it. What makes no sense is that you don’t even have to pay with that card. So other than preventing people from skipping out on the tab, it serves no purpose. This is especially strange, considering their clientele seems to be early 30’s professional couples. Really, it makes no sense.
2) A little pricey, but not outrageous.
This place is stellar. A nice selection of unique and classic dishes, good food, and a lovely atmosphere make this a nice little addition to the area. I would definitely go back.
