We only drank beer here while waiting for our chauffeur in the afternoon, but they had several real ales worth exploring, and the space feels nice and clean.

Unfortunately I wasn’t really impressed with here. The food was pretty pricy and not at the quality I was expecting. You got two patties on the burger I ordered, but if I’m honest I’d rather have one of a better quality — there wasn’t enough flavour and the texture wasn’t great. There was also too much going on — two burgers, chorizo and ground beef and beans — too many competing flavours for me, I’d rather have just a nice spicy burger with something that goes really well together. The fries were pretty decent — with pulled pork and cheese, but if I’m honest I felt a bit disappointed with the food we got for the price we paid — especially considering you can go somewhere like Almost Famous and get a much better meal for cheaper. Everything was a little greasy — but not in the good way

A good all rounder. Little bit hipster, little bit grown up looking but combined with man vs. food style challenges and«Dirk Diggler» hotdogs. I had a Strawberry Fizz cocktail for £7. It tasted like strawberries with sugar sprinkled on them and I suspect it wasn’t too alcoholic but it disappeared very quickly! The music ranged from early ‘90s hip hop to early ‘90s R’n’b …interesting. Not heard a Biggie Smalls record in quite a while before that. It was Friday night that I went and the place had a good energy, pleasantly busy but not heaving. I didn’t have food but from what I saw and the other reviews I think I’ll have to come back… possibly for all you can eat ribs and wings Wednesday!

Love Morleys. How to turn a bar around! This was the infinitely more boring Argyles once and just didn’t work. The new manager Dom has turned it right round, following in the steps of the current trend for filthy but amazing food, with challenges and a wall of shame. The beers meet good standard with some interesting bottles too. The décor is modern eclectic, and fun. The thing about Morleys is that the beer garden is ACE and properly heated, which means smokers feel really welcome, they have a rum cocktail bar out there too! Top staff, great food, I’ve wasted days here!

One of my favourite bars in Chorlton. I’ve yet to eat here, but whenever I’ve been for drinks the atmosphere has always been great. Friendly, non-pretentious staff, and plenty of places to sit with a cool décor. There always seems to be plenty of staff on, so I’ve never had to wait long before being served, even on a busy Friday or Saturday night. I’m very much looking forward to trying the food… having seen the menu, it looks right up my street!

Since moving to Chorlton, I’ve inhabited a good portion the of beery homes it has to offer, but Morley is where I come back to. It’s great, the staff are friendly, the beer selection is good, and Dammit I will get round to having some of the food which looks delicious. If you’ve got your hunger rumbling and your comfortable pants on, try the PIzza Challenge barely anyones completed it, so many have tried and are now on the wall of shame. I’ve not tried it ‘YET’ I think the 2 pints of Milkshake are what would stop me getting through it. Good amount of seating, though as testiment to how popular this place is on a friday night there isn’t enough, during the week though brilliant just to grab one of the comfortable chairs or sofas and chillout for a couple of hours with a few pints of 13 Guns(preferred tipple of mine), and don’t forget the beer garden out the back or indeed the one in the front, if you think inside is too full. It’s firmly my Local in Chorlton. Gotta give it a go, you won’t be dissapointed
