For a train station bar come restaurant this is what you expect; average boring food, served quickly. This isn’t a place to stick around and relax while you wait for your train. Upon arrival, there were people waiting to be served and dirty dishes on tables. The poor server was run off her feet trying to accommodate everyone on the mezzanine level, as it appeared there was no other staff to help. My coffee was burnt, but then again what did I expect? The server was nice enough to swap it for something free of charge. However, that average as well. Perhaps I should have just ordered a cup of tea to begin with. You can’t stuff up tea, or can you? If you’re not fussy and don’t mind a run of the mill breakfast, this is the place for you.

This bar can be easily confused as café restaurant when you first walk in, situated to middle upper leveled front of Paddington Station this place is not to difficult to find. Inside you are met with a modernish purple high seated style décor along with high wooden seats in fact there was quite an array of seating area within the bar itself as well as some seating also outside too. Toilets mind you need a combination code to access them which is pain really, as you had to try and collar one the very few staff they had in the there whom seem to me, to be here and there and anywhere away from eye view from what I saw, this place to be honest is really only good for those wanting to kill time waiting for their trains. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it as first port of call for a pub crawl on a night out prices are also typical station prices and hiked up to hilt all in all it wasn’t a bad bar but too pricey for me though to be honest.

It’s the bar on Paddington Station that even has its own escalator. Being on the Mezzanine makes it good for people-watching — which you have plenty of time to do as the service is quite slow for an empty saturday evening. Food was adequate, and reasonably priced for station food, but empty condiments jars — so not cool. It just didn’t feel like they’d made an effort with how the food looked — slung it on. For a station bar, it’s really good, but given there’s the Dickens opposite the station, it’s not as good as it needs to be. I’d certainly go again for a drink to watch the world go by, as the sofas are good, and it’s quieter than one would expect.
