History
Established in 1986.
Built around 1850 to service the workers in Brown and Lennox Chainworks, with pails of beer being fetched by apprentices for the foundry workers at a rapid rate and a welcome stop for the canal workers travelling from Merthyr to Cardiff on the Glamorganshire Canal. The Bunch has always played a vital part in refreshing the people of Pontypridd and the travellers passing through.
Family run for 30 years the Bunch has always had a special place in the hearts of the locals. The emphasis has always been on providing a great experience whether you are visiting for a few beers or a more formal meal in our restaurant.
