I prefer the clothes section in this store since it’s moved to it’s new location on Above Bar. It seems less messy and you don’t have to search quite as hard as you used to. The shop is spread over three floors with the menswear downstairs, the ladies clothes on the ground floor and the homewares, bags and shoes up on the first floor. The homewares section is very well laid out and it’s easy to find anything you might be looking for. The shop itself is very open and light and the staff are usually helpful if you should need to ask them something. Some real bargains can be found in this shop if you don’t mind searching for them!

A big TK Maxx store on three levels. As with other stores they sell clothes, shoes, houseware, bags and purses. Some good bargains can be picked up from here.
You can get top brand items for low prices. There are different sections for men, women and children and the clothing is set out on rails and is in order of clothes size. The clothing is constantly changing because what they sell is end of line products.
Some of the clothes you can get for the same price at other stores but the labels show there is a lot of money off the rrp so they appear to be cheaper than at other places.
They charge a few pence for carrier bags.

I used to work for TK Maxx — one month and didnt enjoy it at all. They have now moved to a location opposite west quay. This store specialises in bargain stuff like mens/women wear, home products and shoes. The stock can be quite good like calvin clien, d&g, ysl etc. i think they have slight defects but all in all very good store that competes with the likes of matalan, primark with branded named goods.

If you love rail hunting you’ll love TK Maxx, the new store in Southampton opposite West Quay is a great location spread over three floors give tons or bargain hunting space!
With the new TK Maxx stores you really have to give them 6 months for the real bargains to start to creep through, as the stock rotates. But so far I’ve been pleased with the shoe selections and the homewares which seem to have vastly improved over the last couple of years in all the stores.
If you want a contemporary minimalist house with ethnic/hippy/culutural items theres some great wonderful unique items in the homewares for a fraction of the price of mainstream stores. Although things do tend to mismatch so you have to be careful.
There also seems to be rather alot of Denby reduced to £1/£2 recently so you can grab a bargain!

Situated in the High Street in Southampton. Great store for finding bargains. Lots of branded clothes for men, women and children. Has three levels in this store. On the street level is all the womens clothes and if you go down the escalator to the lower level you will find all the menswear. Upstairs you will find the childrenswear and toys and homeware. Really good store which gets new stock every week, so always worth a look. You can get a real bargain. They only have a 2 week return policy though, so if you don’t want something you need to return within 2 weeks for a refund.

It’s a tiny store by TK Maxx standards, especially the children’s section. It’s difficult to find your way round through the crowds of people. I’ve been a fan of TK Maxx in the past but this store was a big disappointment. Overcrowded, stuffy, messy and disorganised.

Although TK Maxx to some really good bargains, its alot like walking in to a jumble sale in this shop, as nothing seams to be in any type of order what so ever. its also quite hard to find anything in a size 16 plus. Id only ever come in here if im really in the mood to rummage around everywhere.
