First introduced to this place(chain) in Canary Wharf. uove e funghi — just lovely the second time in a week! St. Albans location upscale, very friendly staff. Called a taxi for me! I will remember this chain when I return to London — need the mushrooms!

This is a new Italian chain café that’s opened in the UK since i was there. I have to say I went to 3 of these and all were explicitly clean a very well run. I went for breakfasts on all occasions and the food was fantastic, eggs cooked perfectly(still hot) nothing was swimming in grease. The bread basket sampler is well worth getting if you are not eating meat or eggs. But the main breakfast that includes coffee was wonderful.(see pic Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean too.

The range and quality of food and drink is great. I took my daughter her most weekends and always had a great time. Staff were generally very helpful and polite, I still see one of the previous manageresses about…

Good bright space with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very kiddo friendly with both plenty of high chairs and complementary activity packs(pencils, quality cardboard jigsaw to colour in, and activity sheet). We frequent this particular Carluccio’s, generally for breakfast. The mushrooms and eggs are usually great(though I often have problems getting my poached eggs well done, but then I have problems with this request where ever I go), as is the standard cooked breakfast. Big weekend breakfast/brunch tip: get there by 10:30, 11 o’clock seems to be peak busy time and the place fills up pretty quickly. It’ll be interesting to see how this Carluccio’s fares after the new Jamie’s Italian opens early this year…
