Specialties
We are famous for our all day English breakfast in Teddington for 22 years! We have probably the largest menu in the town with grills, omelettes, salads, mezes, sandwiches, paninis, kebabs, wraps, burgers, home made pastas, jacket potatoes, ciabattas, lasagna, chilli con carne, fish dishes and kids menu. We make our lattes, cappucinos from freshly ground Italian aroma coffee beans. We are child frendly café –restaurant, so we keep some toys for the little ones:) There is outside tables which is very popular during nice days.
Since 2009, we also run as a Turkish Meze-Real Charcoal Grill Restaurant, 4 days a week, Wednesday to Saturday evenings from 5pm. We make our home made breads, flat bread and specialty balloon bread in the premises. There is a large variety of hot and cold mezes, kebabs, fish grills, vegetarian dishes, salads and kids meals in the menu.
There is a Belly Dance evening, first Wednesday of a each month. You can hire the premises for parties.
History
Established in 1991.
Diners Delight Café Restaurant has been in Teddington since 1991, for 22 years. The café has been well known for its breakfasts, grill, home made dishes by locals. I and my husband are the third owners and its a family business. We love food, we love good food so we try to do our best for what we cook and serve and would like to see that our quests enjoy our food, enjoy our place and our service and leave happy:)
Scenes from the first episode of Simon Peggs cult-hit comedy series Spaced were filmed in the café — where Tim and Marsha’s friendship blossoms and they decide to rent a flat together.
