We went for a walk and stopped off here for a Sunday Roast. We were not dissappointed! The roast was just shy of £10. The drinks may have not been the widest range available, the usual brands and a Harveys & Adnams on tap, but this only a small pub so well suited. The pub dates back to 16th Century, so expect very low beams as you walk in, you can not get to the bar without stopping a little. The walls are also covered with various menus from different restaurants, which it is worth asking the landlord about. I am sure this place would be a great spot in the summer, as it is on the river with tables outside on the patio area.
