really lovely pub for the summer, but quite hard to find a seat because of this! Didn’t eat but the food looked really good.

A great spot for a riverside drink, with plenty of outdoor seating (with heaters for chillier evenings…). Popular on sunny days!

The Barmy Arms is a firm favourite with lots of Twickenham locals because of it’s close proximity to the town centre and location on the picturesque riverside.
The inside of this place is pretty small but rarely fills up unless it’s a rugby day (Twickenham Stadium is close by and it’s popular with fans). The outside is large and there’s an outdoor bar and barbecue in the summer. Providing you return your glasses you can take your drinks to sit on the river bank too so there’s loads of outdoor space.
For Twickenham the drink prices are pretty reasonable too, I was here on Friday night (next to an open fire) and most lagers cost around the £3 mark. It’ll be more expensive on a match day though and you’ll struggle to get to the bar through the drunkard singing fans which create the great atmosphere.
