Ordered food at 7:15pm still not arrived chased several times.
Still not arrived at 8:30pm so asked for refund.
I know it was busy but not even getting a starter out in this time is beyond a joke.
Staff couldn’t care less.

Big old food pub open all day. Seems quite pleasant and the beer was OK, but not a gourmet venue. Probably OK if you have a family to feed. One of those pubs that wants to be a pub but is in fact a restuarant with a bar.

Well stocked bar with some decent real ales. A different menu from my last visit and not outstanding. My parties food was hot and served well.
I could not recommend the pasta dishes, however. Drab and wishy washy.

Returned with the same friends and had a disappointing evening.
Gammon done to death, egg rock hard and shrivelled.
BBQ chicken that was more cremated than BBQ’d and salad poor standard.
However, my lady friend said that the Lasagne was really nice. We must say that the chips were proper and tasty., The coffee was excellent.
One star only because of the Christmas Tree was pretty!!! Bit early.

Only been in for a quick drink before viewing a property nearby. Lovely garden and a great ‘feel’ to the inside with the feint smell of logs burning. Good beer too. Will be eating there at some point I imagine…

Excellent pub serving food. Usually have burger and chips with salad, or fish cakes, sometimes chicken pie. All food is excellent, service is great. They even have an area for you to sit and eat if you have a dog!
Great place to walk too as lovely area surrounding pub. Plenty of parking. Good choice of usual drinks and wines. Always recommend and always visit at least twice a month if not more.

Brilliant pub food. We sat in the restaurant area and had chicken pie and a steak pie with mash and chips — both pies were fantastic although we weren’t sure if they were home-made or not — either way they tasted great. We had a pudding too and they were fabulous as well. The service couldnt be faulted. Def recommend to anyone in the area.
