The barista seemed unsure in her knowledge about the coffee/product. They use a Texas coffee. The cold brew tasted a bit sour like it was possibly an old batch. The espresso in the latte was quite bitter. It is a cute shop, but one of the least informed. I visit a ton of local coffee shops and I like to ask questions about the coffee, flavor and methods. The coffee was simply okay, not much to choose from in the area.

Cool place very clean and the aquarium is nice. The staff is quick and friendly. Only down side is that Fox News is always on. Coming from the San Antonio coffee scene maybe has me biased. Perhaps I could be more open minded unlike the channel of choice. Espresso and Fox News is just a weird mix.

Stopped in to check out another one of Abilene’s coffee shops and this one was great! Friendly staff, fair prices and a ton of selection. I got a sugar free chai latte with skim milk(love that they have sugar free chai!), and my mom got the regular coffee, both were very good. I noticed they have a large selection of sugar free and regular flavors, great bonus! They also had pastries and foods but I did not try any. Lots of seating as well and right off the highway so it is easy to get to. Will come back!

They may not have the world’s best-tasting cup of coffee, and their milk may not be organic, but this place is one of my favorite coffee shops in Abilene. Nice environment, many tables and outlets(with USB outlets!) and very friendly staff. Tip: If you plan to stay, ask for your drink in a reusable mug! Otherwise the default is a throw-away cup. Tip: Ask for a loyalty card. 10 drink purchases = 1 free drink.

What a great coffee shop. The coffee is good, staff friendly and the garage room is great for meetings. Sometimes the barista can be slow, but it is not often.

My favorite place in Abilene to grab coffee and completely worth the extra drive outside of town to grab a cup o’ joe. My favorite from there is a coconut latte, I used to get them back home and was worried about finding one here in Abilene. Spot on, great job Mad Coffee.

Probably the nicest coffee shop in Abilene. My go to place when I want to get out of the office and work somewhere else. Good wifi. They also have abundant plugs and most of them have USB outlets built in so you can charge your phone if you bring the cord.

Nice ambience, but the drink quality is sub-par at best.

My café breve this morning was really good. The baristas were very pleasant and helpful. Pricing was on par with what you would pay at any coffee shop and I appreciate another coffee shop in town with a drive-thru. The location is a little out of the way, but if you are in the medical area, Wylie schools, or the couple of large churches on 707/Beltway South, I’m sure it’s worth the few minutes to get there. I’ll be dropping by again.

Our favorite coffee place in town. Great facility with open comfy atmosphere. Coffee is always perfect. Pastry is all brought in from AM donuts. They are good but how bout some house made options?

Pretty, but even more expensive than starbucks. Coffee was just ok, I was expecting better for the price. It actually had a bitter taste :(Going to sound a bit spoiled but I was expecting better sugar for the price as well(like the sugar in the raw) just wasnt too impressed. Second visit I got a Carmel machiato and it was actually very good. Better than starbucks!

This place is awesome. They have a great menu – 20oz lattes. They have beautiful furniture and a lovely building overall. Great atmosphere. The customer service was refreshing and clearly purposeful. I was personally handed by drink before leaving. My hazelnut latte was great. I didn’t see any food but it was on the menu. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I would also suggest that they open a location somewhere on north judge Ely.

Stopped in shortly after they opened. What a great place. Really nice inside and one room has some half garage doors that open when the weather is nice. Oh, and the coffee was really good. I’ll be back.

The BEST coffee in Abilene! Believe me, I’ve looked. I try to make my opinion based on the black coffee since the bean is the most important part, and Mad Coffee does not leave me disappointed at all. PLUS, they have cold brew and it’s great! The atmosphere is nice. More restaurant than coffee shop, but the people are genuinely welcoming and it’s a nice place to gather with friends. Every time I pass by I will DEFINITELY grab a cup from them.
