I’ll admit that, if for no other reason, I’m spoiled with the relative ease that we find gas stations in the south. But dang, it can be downright difficult to find a place to fuel up in the north. What is it, do you purposely hide them so that people from out-​of-​town will run out or something? Even those signs on the side of the highway that point you to gas (and food, for that matter) seem to have nothing to do with where you will actually find the place.
Regardless, we did eventually manage to find out way to this place, and it was nice enough. The pumps were slow, I was stared at like a terrorist when I went inside to use the restroom. By the guy behind the counter, who looked a bit like a terrorist himself. He was nice and all, but he didn’t look all that friendly, if you know what I mean.
