History

Established in 1988.

I created Thomas Buckborough Associates in 1988 with the notion

that homeowners should expect more out of the home remodeling experience. That they can and should have it all — sophisticated

design with interesting architectural detail and use of materials; and exceptional craftsmanship — all in one firm, delivered in a way that

won’t leave a homeowner at wits end, nor break the bank in the

process.

Thomas E.

Business Owner

Thomas was born and raised in Concord Massachusetts. He worked in the trades during and after high school, working as a full time carpenter for over 10 years before giving his time over fully to architectural design and managing Thomas Buckborough & Associates. Thomas is passionate about living well, and believes that ones living environment can have a significant impact on their sense of well being, joy and comfort. He also is passionate about food, music, the arts, and yoga. He shares a 135 lb Great Dane named Ruby with his past wife. He is committed to sustainable living and thinks about this in relations to his own passion for food and the building arts.
