This buffet is bland don’t waste your time or money! Their sweet tea tastes like super sweet nestea and when I complained about it being too sweet and asked for a water after taking two sips of tea I was charged for tea. They even argued with me at the register saying you drank the tea! Of course I did how could I taste it if I didn’t have a drink of it

One of the worst chinese buffets I have ever been to. The food was cold and tasted aweful.

I have been here twice. The first time was better than the last. My last visit I was seated with my guest next to a service area and I always reject this place but I stayed. Bad mistake, I got about 1⁄3 of my meal when the waitress kept throwing cups, plates, flat ware all around and it sound like a bull in a china shop. The food was average and everything was clean.

This place is better then other buffets, the food is better then panda express or any other Chinese place that I know of. The food feels really light that you feel good when you eat it. I really recommend it to anyone

The food was good. Mostly fresh because it was so packed. What is with all the kids? Seriously there was about 8 of them running around unsupervised. Their parents didn’t even help them get food, which just seems unsanitary as young as they were.

I was looking for Chinese Buffets in Addison area and found this one. When I entered I liked the massive spread of food items. I started with a helping of soup, egg roles and dumplings. I found that the dumplings were tasteless. Now this is surprising because its hard to make bad dumplings. The hot and sour soup didn’t taste right. it was not bad… but just didn’t taste like a hot and sour soup. Egg roles were OK. I moved to second helping of main course where I took fried rice, orange and sesame chicken. I found that the chicken was coated with very thick layer of batter. in every bite all I could taste was the batter. The chicken inside was hard, chewy and tasteless. The fried rice was cold and again didn’t taste like Chinese fried rice. They have a very large spread… but nothing tastes the way its supposed to.

Holy shitake mushrooms. This place was very disappointing which sacked because I wanted to like this place so bad. First of all when we walked in we were greeted by a lady who seemed to be insulted by our presence. To be honest I think she made a face at us. We were then taken to a table in the back and a very sweet young lady came and took our drink orders. There were 2 waiters and they were both extremely nice and fast with the drinks and that is why this placed got 2 stars. The food is well, bad. Everything is covered in a layer of salt, grease, or a mysterious sticky sauce. What’s even worse is that most of the items do not have labels which leads you to second guess what your eating. Even the vegetables are coated in a layer of mysterious brown sauce. If your a fan of cheap, fried americanized Chinese food come here. But if not avoid this place as best as you can.

The food is not bad for the price but the proprietors seem just fine with the parents who let their children run wild. I’ve complained to the hostess about the kids swinging themselves off of my chair as they race around playing tag. I’ve complained about kids running into me at full speed as they run back to their tables. None of it has done anything to change the situation. The hostess smiles and says okay and nothing changes.

I don’t normally like Chinese buffets but this is one place that stands out. It’s consistently delicious and we have been coming here for years.

As cheap Chinese buffets go, this is better than most in Dallas. Foods are served at the correct temperature. The dishes have the appropriate taste. The variety of dishes is wide. Prompt refills of fresh iced tea. I would go back, especially for the Kung Pao.

I don’t normally do buffets, but this place changed my view! The food is hot and the staff us quick to not only keep your drinks full, but the food bins as well. They make sure that the buffet is well stocked. The selection is good and the place is clean. I wish they had more of a dessert selection. But, barring that, it’s a good value for the price and good food.

New New is a no no. If the parents won’t control their children it’s incumbent upon the establishment to enforce food service rules to prevent the food being used as weapons. When the cookies are being hurled as frisbees through the serving line it’s time to take action. The food was edible. Not good but not rancid either. Stringy meat, chewy veggies, and the grapes had pits in them.

This weekend, business has taken me to Addison, TX where I found a cheap Chinese buffet not too far from my hotel. Intro: New New Buffet is an average sized Chinese buffet with a very clear goal… to provide good food at reasonable prices(as the big golden sign at the entrance says). Food: When I walked in, I was already amazed at the food selection available for a Chinese buffet(it was the dinner buffet)… at least 25 different food options plus salad, soup, and dessert. Overall, the food was good but I will say it wasn’t amazing. A one of the entrees I had(Jalapeño Beef) had a weird plastic taste and the oysters looked very unappetizing. The rest of the food was fine. The Chicken on a Stick was moist, Crab Rangoon stuffed perfectly, and everything was at a great temperature. Service: The service was awesome from start to finish. The wait staff was very pleasant and the host was very helpful when I called to ask about the buffet. Cleanliness: Overall, the restaurant was very clean and organized outside of the ice cream topping section which was a mess. The bathroom could have been a little neater but were acceptable. Atmosphere: The restaurant was nice and roomy so you were never afraid you were going to bump into someone eating during repeat trips to the buffet. During my visit, they had a separate room where a party was been held. However, it sounded as if they we having a rather loud karaōke night and had the doors propped open for it. Luckily for me, it was near the end of my meal. Price: $ 10.35 plus tax(at the time of this review) for dine-in dinner was an amazing and very affordable price. I have seen similar buffets go for much higher. Overall: I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. If I make it back to Addison, perhaps I’ll try their flat rate to-go offer. FINALTALLIES Food: 5⁄8 Service: 4⁄4 Cleanliness: ¾ Atmosphere: 1.5÷2 Price: 2⁄2 Total: 15.5÷20 — 4 stars

As always I hate gourmet American Chinese food. A 5 star for the wide spread of items. I was charged $ 7 for may be 70 – 80 items on the buffet list. Most if the savory dishes have a sweet syrup flavor. Blant food. Desserts very good and probably they are $ 7 a worth. Would prefer if they add in some extra spice.

Great buffet, with some American items. Orange chicken was good, as was the Butter shrimp. Busy at lunch time but they get you in and out very quickly. This is the place to go to fill up on chinese food! No discount for Seniors. A pity, since in China they honor the elderly. We would love the variety in our diets. But we just dont need to eat as much as your younger customers.

I’ve been coming here for years — the first few visits we ate in. but now this is one of my few«to go» places on nights when I don’t want to cook at home . Flat rate cost for the buffet«to go», so fill it up to the maximum ;) plus you get a cup for soup, $ 10.99 I only eat at the first two bars because I’m a creature of habit — plus I don’t come here for sushi, salads or desserts. I consistently get the mushrooms, swai fillets(they have salmon now too), orange chicken, sesame chicken(although it could be a little more crispy), and the beef & broccoli . Whether this food is authentic or not, I don’t care. I’ve always preferred«Americanized«ethnic food anyway. It’s a good buffet, and it beats going to Golden Corral anyday!

Chinese buffets are only good if you have a large family to feed or you’re incredibly hungover and need greasy lo mein. Unfortunately, Pat Baby was feeling nostalgic and wanted to go here again during a busy lunchtime while I was completely sober. Things looked okay from the beginning. There were two types of noodles and fried rice which can be a good indicator that the buffet will have tons of items to choose from. Maybe some coconut sauteed shrimp here? Flat. Out. Wrong. Orange chicken, broccoli beef, take your pick. They’ve got two choices of sushi rolls which thankfully did not contain any raw fish because I would not trust this place at all. Clearly they’re stingy when they only leave one fish fillet out at a time, swimming in some mysterious magic brown sauce. Then some fool takes the whole thing and you have to wait, bah! Oh, seafood is practically reduced to those unappetizing looking cocktail shrimp. There is a whole mountain of it in the back corner that no one touched at all! At least pretty it up a bit instead of leaving it there heaped up like Hong Kong market. Did I see a fly? I eyed a steamer at one end and became prematurely excited *insert dumpling jingle here*. No! Inside I found«beef wontons» which was basically steamed wonton wrappers. The small ball of beef was about the size of my thumb nail. Hmm was it actually beef? I’m starting to see how carbs are the big seller here… What was incredibly amusing to me was what they considered kimchi. I ate it of course with much laughter. Take cheap iceberg lettuce salad and toss it in chili paste. Now you got yourself some authentic Chinese buffet style kimchi! I’ve been to better places with more variety so I’m not dissing the entire Chinese buffet phenomenon. I’m sure if you didn’t have any other options then this would be perfect. Sometimes, when you’re just that hungry and you don’t have a lot of green, food is food no matter what it is.

I went here because I have been on a crab kick and saw this buffet offered crab. I guess I should have called ahead because there wasn’t any crab on the buffet at all. It was just the normal things you find at Chinese buffets. They food wasn’t bad, and it was really good either. It was reasonable priced but I won’t be going back here again.
