The Heritage Table caters to all events and atmospheres; from Pecan-​smoked Barbecue in our competition style smoker to more upscale options for more formal events, we work to provide the ideal culinary complement to your event plans.

The Heritage Table dedicates itself to real food, good times and old traditions: that is to say, we prepare all our foods from scratch — from homemade bread and house-​smoked beef and pork to mayonnaise made with local, pasteurized eggs. Founded by Rich Vana in early 2014, we have since catered for the Dallas Stars, have become the preferred caterer for Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar, and have catered to many satisfied clients, recommendations from all of whom we will gladly pass onto prospective customers.

History

Established in 2014.

For four years, Rich Vana covered the Dallas culinary culture and those who drove it for an online publication. It was revelatory, if not wholly fulfilling. It was a passion not just for food, but for service and helping people to enjoy their meal on an entirely different level led him to quit my job as an observer and documentarian of the North Texas culinary culture to instead become a part of it.

Since opening The Heritage Table, we have met with a thoroughly encouraging response from our clients. It has been both a revelation as well as an entirely fulfilling endeavor to pursue our stated goal — absolute, complete and utter satisfaction from our clients.
