Everyone needs their kids groomed and wants a caring groomer to treat them with love. I’ve taken my cat, Mrs. Cavanaugh, to the guys for years now and couldn’t be happier with the results. They truly, truly love animals and do an excellent job. I love those guys and my cat does, too!

I was sad to see that this place is still open. I took my dog here quite a while back. In all fairness, this is not a current review. But I was in Unilocal and noticed a review on this place. I was upset to see that there are recent complaints of these guys cuttings dog’s skin and cutting their nails too short. I used this place to groom my dog and when I picked him up (he was a puppy at the time) they raved about how good he was for his grooming. I got the dog home and there was blood all over my floor from where he walked with his butchered nails. I called the owner and he said they must have cut his nails too short and that this happens with ‘difficult’ dogs. I said — what happened to you telling me how great he was!!! He offered to put Quick Stop on the dog’s nails ‘again’ and I was horrified. Again??? My dog was bleeding before I picked him up and you didn’t tell me? The owner ended up calling me obscenities (I did not use such language) and hung up on me. To be honest, this was years ago. But reading through recent reviews, I was horrified to see that the same behavior exists and to see that the shop doesn’t care enough to address it. There are plenty of great pet salons in the area, if you need a referral, search Unilocal and see the great reviews of other shops.

I love my dogs haircut, and I appreciate the fact that they take their time bathing my two dogs. My Snow seems to stay smelling good for longer than she had after going to other groomers.

These guys are awesome. They truly have the magic touch. I have a 40lb Australian Shepard, «Roman». I have been going here for almost 3 years now. They always do such a great job, he comes out looking like a show dog. So soft and smooth, Clean and happy. Roman never seems angry or upset when I come to pick him up, which makes me feel that he is treated good and that is the most important thing to me. I am extremely happy with their service.
Some other reviewers on Unilocal mentioned the length of the appointment. They have always told me to expect him to be there most of the day. They don’t force the dog into uncomfortable grooming sessions if the dog isn’t having it. Sometimes being patient and working with the dogs when they are in a better mood makes for a less traumatic experience for the dog. I want them to take as much time as they need or feel appropriate.

After taking my dog to Touch of Class for several years I write this review. I was very happy with their work. However, my last time there they cut my dog’s claws too short. He was bleeding. When I realized it I called them and was told it must have happened when my dog left. They took no responsibility and blamed me. Accidents happen but denial? My dog licked his paw for 24 hours.

Thank you Touch of Class! Came to our rescue for emergency pet sitting! I know my dogs are in good hands and really appreciate it.

Sadly, I need to write an update to my previous review from two years ago. This is March 2013, not sure if Unilocal is using my old date but this is my new review.
I always brought my dog here. I was happy with the service and trusted Alex and John, however, over time, the prices kept going up, charging me an extra $ 25 after it was done because he was matted (I would’ve appreciated knowing that was going to happen up front, also my dog was shaved, so it wasn’t as if they had to comb the knots out). They were always busy and I had to wait weeks sometimes to be able to bring him in, which was why he would be more knotted and I’d have to pay more money to get him groomed. I wasn’t happy with that, however, I could deal with it since they did a good job and I figured, above all, my dog was safe.
The last time I picked my dog up, they charged me again extra without telling me. It was after having to wait weeks to get an appointment. That wasn’t what made me need to find a new groomer though — my dog had major scabs behind his ears from being cut, both ears… they tried to cover it in hair so I wouldn’t notice, which really upset me greatly. It’s bad enough to cut up my dog, but not to tell me about it and just hope I wouldn’t notice or complain is inexcusable. I can’t trust them with me dog, so I’ll have to find a new groomer. Very sad.

I have been bringing my dog Miss Mary Jane to John and Alex for years. I must say they are thee best groomers ever! My cute little girl always comes home smelling delicious and looking FABULOUS! They are the only people I trust with any of my pets. I highly recommend A Touch of Class to anyone that wants there pupp not only groomed exceptionally but also treated with love and care. Three thumbs up!

I dropped my 30 pound dog off here 3 times. The first time they did a great job and only took 3 hours. The second time…5 hours. Which I thought was too long, but was willing to deal since the dog looked good. Third time — they still had not called me after SEVEN HOURS! So I drove over and was told the dog would not be ready for another TWO hours! Nine hours in a cage? No thanks. I took the dog and they still charged me full price even though the dog was not finished. Big time management trouble. Skip.

Took my dog here for 8 years and they did a good job. When the dog got older and harder to move they raised the price on me by $ 20 and stopped calling me to schedule appointments like they had done for eight years. They were sending me a message. They were NOT caring at all. Very difficult people to deal with for eight years and I put up with them because they did a fine job. I put up with their weird rules and diva type behaviors. They may do a good job grooming but they are unprofessional.
