I really like Dr. Matsuyama, he’s a very good at making conversation and he’s funny, too! Everyone that works there is nice. They’re also open on Saturday and the office opens at 8:00 — good for people who can’t see him during the work week who also don’t want to plan their day around a doctor’s appointment. I’ve been going to him for almost ten years (my mom is also sees him). I’d definitely recommend!

After learning the difference between an Ophthalmologist and Optometrist, I’ve finally found my new optometrist.
My glasses just weren’t doing it for me and I wanted to try color contacts, the legal ones this time. I found Styleyes through my vision insurance carrier’s website. Styleyes is located on top of Westridge Center on the opposite end of Ichiriki in Aiea where they have ample free parking! Dr. Marissa was very friendly and energetic as she confirmed some findings my ophthalmologist had discovered but reassured me they would work with me to monitor my eye’s health. For my eyes in particular, she suggested the Air Optics Fresh look which I am excited to wear when I receive them in a week from now!
For a first time visit here, it took about 2 hours for an exam and contact fitting but it was very pleasant as they have numerous glasses to try on in the waiting area and informative brochures. All the staff are really friendly, they were even nice enough to fit my Ray Ban’s I bought online comfortably to my face. I highly recommend this optometry office!

Staff and doctor are super helpful and friendly! Love this place! I’d recommend this optometrist in a heartbeat :)
