My fiancé and I just bought our wedding bands from this store with the assistance from Tamara. We had a great experience here and loved our rings! The platinum rings we got are of high quality and reasonably priced. The store associates in Glennpeter, especially Tamara, are genuine, patient and very helpful! We will definitely shop there again and highly recommend this store! If you are going to buy any thing, browse other jewelry store first, then you will fully appreciate the service and price this store offers.
Here’s my story:
We have been shopping for our wedding bands for quite a while. We visited almost all the jewelry store in Albany. I had a very unique engagement ring, so finding a matching band was difficult. Most of the Jewelry stores were trying to rip us off by naming a ridiculously high price and rushing us to make a decision, and became impatient and inattentive when we told them that we needed more time to consider the price.
We felt frustrated until we visited Glennpeter at Colonie Center Mall and met Tamara, who really is a breath of fresh air! The first time we went in was quite late at night. Nevertheless, Tamara was patient, genuine and personable. She shared her knowledge of pros and cons of various metals, patiently showed every piece of rings we are interested and wrote down notes of our choices. Although it was late that night, she offered to quickly check and clean my engagement ring. The next day, she then followed up with more detailed information (e.g prices, availability etc). For the same brand of rings, the price Glennpeter provided was much more reasonable. They also had a very good selection of designs: I was able to find a ring that can match my engagement ring pretty well. I have to admit that I was very indecisive about my choice, and actually changed my mind a few times in the following weeks. However, it never changed how Tamara treated us: She understand it was a big decision for us and really had put herself in our shoes; she was very very patient and trying to accommodate us all the time. We didnt feel being pushed or rushed to make a decision either. We eventually got the rings that we like with a very good price!
We have a lot to plan for our wedding, shopping wedding bands at Glennpeter with the help from Tamara really saved us a lot of hassles! I really think thats how a jewelry store should do business — high quality of jewelry pieces, competitive price and a group of genuine and professional associates. We will definitely shop this store again, for the price and quality, and also for the associates like Tamara this store has!

I had a really good experience here.
First, we walked in at about 8:50 on a Saturday night, just to browse, but I never felt rushed. I really liked the salesman, Eric. He was friendly and personable. He made jokes about the periodic table (I’m a geek, so he gets bonus points for that). He even offered us coffee, which would have meant staying there well past closing. He never even mentioned that the store was about to close — he just showed us what we wanted to see.
I told him what I wanted, they had exactly what I was looking for, at a completely reasonable price. He didn’t try to convince me to get anything fancier or more expensive. He just showed us what we asked to see, and he was nice about it. That’s basically what I’m looking for when I’m shopping.
I don’t think I’ll be ultimately getting my rings here, but there are a couple other things I need to repair/​replace, and I’ll be going back to Glennpeter.

Most of my «good» jewelry comes from here. My engagement ring and wedding ring were both purchased from here, and I am really excessively pleased about the quality. They carry the Hearts on Fire diamonds, which are absolutely breathtaking, and I always feel a really vain swell of pride whenever someone I know gets engaged, and the diamond in their engagement ring just can’t begin to compare to the one in mine. They carry a pretty good selection here, especially since they expanded the store. I like basic, classic designs that could probably even be described as minimalistic, and I can always find something I like with ease. We’ve gotten really exceptional service from Dawn, who is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help us. I would never go anywhere else in the area for fine jewelry.
