The MoveMeant Studio teaches one on one Pilates with equipment. We tone core muscles (such as abs, glutes, thighs), relieve tension aches and pains, and improve posture through resistance-based, private Pilates classes on the Reformer, Tower, and Chair.
Our clients are athletes trying to keep themselves injury free; people recovering from surgeries, injuries, or pregnancy; and anyone with a spinal or joint pathology that wants to increase comfort and mobility. We strive to offer personal programs designed to meet our clients’ goals, keep them safe, and progress as they get stronger.
At the MoveMeant Studio, trainers are classically and contemporarily trained with a strong focus on corrected posture, efficient movements, and improved daily activities.

Business Owner
Laura decided to start teaching Pilates after years of taking classes and realizing the wonderful benefits that that come from focusing on movement. She is trained in Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels focusing on anatomy, injuries, pre/post natal, and special populations. She enjoys working with clients of all levels and tailoring their workout to meet their specific needs and goals. While leading her students through challenging workouts, she likes to develop her students’ awareness on form, making the most of each exercise.
