Pure Cleaners

I love Pure Cleaners! My husband always takes his work shirts there to be dry cleaned and I have taken a couple of bridesmaid dresses there as well. All of my alterations have always been spot on and I love going in and chit chatting with the husband/​wife owners. They are very trustworthy and are always quick and efficient!

I dropped off 3 dresses off to be altered (3 inches shorter each), very simple task. The guy taking them typed very slowly on the computer, and I was very clear about what I needed done. 3 days later, when my wife went to pick them up, all they did was clean them, no alterations done. When my wife confronted them, they called me a liar and claimed I never asked for that. NEVER in any of my sentences did I asked them to be cleaned (who takes cotton dresses in to be cleaned?). They simply do not care that they screwed up, would not fix the situation and work on them right now, just «oh well, it’s your word against ours». DO NOT USE this place for alterations. clearly I should have come to Unilocal first to read the other review about screwing up alterations.

I am writing this review because I believe it is well deserved. My friends and I brought our bridesmaids dresses here to get altered. When we got them back, 2 of our dresses were an inch and a half shorter than what was discussed during our fitting. Long story short. I was told there was nothing they could do about it! When I asked for a small portion of my money back she refused and then HUNG UP ON ME!!! Yes, she hung up on me! Terrible terrible terrible customer service. I will never recommend anyone to this establishment!
