Anthony’s Smog Station

Dishonest business practices. My check engine light was on. Rather than tell me I needed to clear the computer first, he hooked up my car and ran the smog test even though he knew it would fail. Worst part, he kept me waiting 25 mins while he pretended to work on the car. He charged me ½ then told me I had to come back after I cleared the check engine light. Then when I went back, he charged me charged me the other ½ plus an additional DMV hookup fee.
This place is SHADY!

This place is great! I’ve gone multiple time with multiple vehicles for a smog check and the attendant never disappoints. Fast, easy and a great price other places just can’t beat.

This place is in the same location as the Mobile gas station. The man that did my smog check was very kind and polite. The wait was less than 20 minutes. Also, they are the cheapest that I found around the area for $ 38 (too depending on the car model). The smog check certificate was sent to the DMV electronically.

went to get my car smog tested after finding this station on Unilocal,saw good reviews. The good reviews say it all. Reasonable fee, fast service. Anthony’s assistant noticed that my tires were over inflated due to a broken tire gauge at another gas station. His experienced eye caught what I didn’t, saving me from a possible disaster. They go the extra mile here for the customers. Highly recommend this place !

38 dollars for a smog check and a certificate. You can’t beat that. Great guy, very fast and polite.

I took my car for smog check flew days ago. I really love the service. Just went there for smog check only. But they checked my oil, cleaned my engine for free. I didn’t even asked for that. Very good service! :)

I’ve been coming here for smog checks and general repairs to my car for years and I can say I’ve always been satisfied with the service and pricing.
I recently had to take my car to another shop out of town and was told that there was a problem with the heads. Rather than entrusting a stranger, I preferred to haul my car home. The guys checked it out, found only a minor issue and resolved it quickly and inexpensively.
Anthony and Mauricio are hard-​working and very professional. I trust these guys and know that they wouldn’t steer me wrong– no pun intended.

Prompt, friendly service. I called this morning, they got me in within an hour, and the smog check itself took no more than 20 minutes. An all-​around positive experience.

Anthony is an honest and skillful person, and that is what I am looking for when it comes to a quality autoshop. I was first introduced from my boyfriend who has been going to Anthony for 4 years before I too go to Anthony.
At first I went to different auto shop and asked for help…, but I do not like the service. They seem like give me one quote but charge me extra when I pay for my car.
I don’t mind to pay extra, but those auto shop dealers never notify me when they are adding extra. Anthony is a different story, he is super patient and nice. And he will always make sure to contact the customers when he needs to make any changes.
I feel like I can trust him, so if you want to give him a shot just simply call and talk to him. Thumbs up! Sometimes they are super busy, so just be patient.

Best smog shop in the San Gabriel Valley. Very honest and friendly service. I recommend this shop to all my family and friends. The owner was so nice he gave me an aloe vera plant! Thank u Antony!

Very Happy with Anthony’s Smog Station. Anthony is a honest person, and the price is right. $ 40 out of the door. Smog Check only take 15 mins!

Came around 5:50pm on Monday. I was glad they were still open because usually auto services places close at 6pm. Quick and friendly service. It took probably 15– 20 minutes.

First off, The map is wrong on Unilocal.The shop is located on the NW corner of Freemont/​Main st. in Alhambra. MAP IS WRONG.

I had a little issue with passing, so I went to Anthony’s SMOG with my 1997 BMW M3 and he said he’d test it out. Immediately, he found the codes that were triggering the O2 sensor CEL (check engine light). Anthony suggested some things, and to come back after I try some of the potential fixes.
One week later, I return, after trying three things that Anthony suggested, and I passed. Anthony was confident that the car would pass and it did so with ease.
Thanks Anthony for hooking me up, and I would recommend Anthony’s SMOG to my Mom, Dad, Bros, Sisters, Close friends, and even not so close friends. You will receive extra attention and advice here, and it will save you HUNDRED$$$$$ in repairs.
