The man performing the check was nice and service was prompt.
Called at least 4 places and this was the most affordable and comparable the most affordable smog check places I’ve been to. 38 dollars out the door with certificate and instant notice to the DMV.

I’m selling my car so I needed to get a smog check. I found this place on Unilocal and it’s great. They took about 15 minutes and total came out to $ 38.20. Eventhough my car was a big cargo van they didn’t charge any extra fees. I’ll definitely come back!

Been coming here for years! Gary and his crew are super nice and honest! They don’t over charge or trick you into fixing something that don’t need it.
For example: one time i made the mistake of going to pep boys for an oil change and they tried to get me to pay for new brake rotors. This was gonna cost a lot. So i went back to Gary on the next oil change and told him. He could have easily told me yes and charged me for this work. But he didn’t. He said i didn’t need all that work but he did check them and fixed the brakes but he didn’t charge an arm and a leg for it.
I totally recommend going to them!!!

I found myself a new smog check spot
I used to drive down to San Gabriel to an arco on Las Tunas which was quick and cheap but is no longer there.
I happened to stumble upon this place while looking to do a smog test on my g35 coupe last week, and IM glad I did. This place is cheaper and i think closer than the other spot I went to that closed down.
$ 38.20 (with certificate), about $ 10 cheaper than the place right around the corner from me.

Just your average smog check station. I’m glad this one is attached to an Arco. I get to buy some snacks while I wait.
Smog test is $ 29.95 and the State Smog Test Certificate is an additional $ 8.25. To save money you can tell them you don’t want the certificate since they are suppose to send it electronically the the DMV. Otherwise, they will charge you for the certificate which is basically a piece of paper that expires in 90 days. Its up to you!

Oil change, smog check, brake service, etc. My family has been coming here for decades so you know they’re an honest group of individuals fixing your vehicle here. Located conveniently off the 710 freeway on Valley Blvd (literally RIGHT off the fwy, after you make your right turn). They really don’t need my review since they have great business, but I like giving businesses the recognition they deserve.
I came here for an oil change and Peter took me right in even though he was concurrently working on 3 or 4 other cars. I arrived later than my designated appointment time and Peter was very forgiving and flexible about it. I was in and out in less than 15 – 20 minutes. Their waiting area allows you to watch while they work on your vehicle or read the Daily News newspaper on the counter.
$ 26.95 for oil change– Fantastic!

Smog test ~$ 32. Great guy. Going back to him. Opens 8:30am. Closed Sundays.
