Oddly enough my review for Dr Chou was deleted. Maybe it was too graphic or something. I didn’t mean anything bad by it but because I am in the medical field too I figured I’d be as honest and straight forward about procedures as I could be. Well let me do this again but this time it will be a bit censored and less long winded. Well, here is my maiden post at Unilocal! Okay well I am in a medical program and I am required to, as long as I am in the program to get an exam to determine how immune I am to various diseases like Mumps and Rubella just to name a couple. This is my second year in the program so I had to get the checkup. By the way to determine the immunity they do something called Titers. Tite– Ers it’s pronounced. Last year I went to another doctor for this but I didn’t care for him nor his office staff. Just they were not that attentive or good. This year I searched out another doctor and that doctor was Dr. Leslie Lee at the office that Dr. Chou is at. I think it’s Dr. Lee’s office and practice but Dr. Chou is a doctor there too of course. Dr. Lee was not available when I wanted to get the test done but Dr. Chou was, so I figured if Dr. Chou works at Dr. Lee’s office then she must be good too. So I decided not to waste any time since I had to get this done. Dr. Chou is very good. She is newly out of Medical School I believe but she knows her stuff. She was very thorough and very very knowledgeable with a good communication. She was everything that my previous doctor is not. Also since I’m in a medical program I had a bunch of medical questions for her and she was kind enough to answer all my questions, which I found really helpful when it comes to the program I am in. I’m not in Med School but I am in something that is related to X-Rays, but none the less I had med questions that she was able to answer for me. Her office staff are very friendly and very helpful and on top of things. I like that because to me the staff in a doctor office is as important as the doctor because everything comes together and when it comes to going to a doctor visit. The office itself is nice and clean and orderly. Very important. I had lab work done for sugar levels, BUN and Creatine, Cholesterol and the works. That was not required by my school but since I was getting poked and jabbed by a needle to get blood for titers I figured I’d get that done. My report says I’m really healthy. Only thing is need to lose weight. Also, my prostate is fine. PSA levels are good and got the dreaded prostate exam and the prostate is the right size. I always avoid that exam but I thought I’d do it to see what my patients will go through, and she made that exam easy and pleasant. Since she’s an excellent doctor and I avoid the doctor normally like the plague, I will go back to her for a yearly check up. What I mean is, that she made going for an exam a piece of cake and just fine. I like her but I hope not to see her until the next yearly exam. What I mean is unless I am hurt I don’t want to see the doctor, otherwise next year I look forward to seeing her and getting an exam and asking her a bunch more medical questions. I recommend her very much to anyone who wants a doctor who can make you feel comfortable and at ease with.
