Established in 1996.

AB Moving began operations in 1996 with one small truck and trailer. The crew was on time and got to work right away. They wrapped all the furniture with plastic wrap which I liked. They were well organized so it went pretty quick. The only complaint is one of our Le Creuset pans got cracked somewhere along the way, and I am still trying to get ahold of the claims department. Other than that everything went smoothly and we would definitely recommend and have recommended them already.

We used AB Moving ten years ago for a small move from an apartment in Dallas, and remembered them as being very good. We recently moved from a small home in Fort Worth to a two-​story much larger home in N Richland Hills, and decided to give them another try. I could not be more pleased with the two crews who came. They were both careful with our items, yet efficient in their work. They listened carefully beforehand as we walked the house, explaining which items they would be taking and which to leave behind, and then were very good about asking where everything was going into the new house. They put the furniture exactly where I asked them to, and even moved some things more than once when it turned out it wasn’t going to fit the way I imagined it. The scheduling online was easy, and the communication with the office via email superb. The cost was hourly rather than per box, which made packing much less stressful, too. If we ever move again, we will definitely use AB Moving, and I would recommend their services whole-​heartedly.

Dany and his crew of three were great. They were very polite and professional. Dany and his crew surpassed our expectations and we would definitely recommend them.
We were a little displeased with AB Moving’s customer service, but would give the company a second chance if we were to ever move again due to how happy we were with Dany and his team.

I have used AB Moving about five times now and they are always great! The last time I used them, I had Bonaficio’s crew and they were the best yet. They were really quick and had great customer service. Kyle is great to work with and had my move booked in less than a day! He was super easy to get in touch with via email, text, or phone. Everyone at AB Moving is really friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!

I cannot tell you how pleased I was with AB Moving, Luis and his crew! The guys were prompt, professional and fast. I’ve moved several times, and this was the best/​easiest one ever. I was worried that because I was having them pack a good chunk of my stuff the cost would be outrageous, but I was amazed at how efficient they were – especially moving out of a third story apartment (with no elevator).
Also, setting everything up was seamless and easy! I appreciate their flexibility and responsiveness and confirming the move every step of the way. I had a couple of false starts scheduling, and they were VERY accommodating. I would absolutely recommend AB Moving!

Excellent company, HIGHLY recommend! Kyle, Mike & Jasmine in the office were so helpful in assessing our needs, scheduling the move, and even graciously rescheduling when we had to change the date. Clear communication via email and over the phone.
The movers called ahead, arrived on time and were very polite and professional. Ismael and his crew, Ernesto and David were FOCUSED, helpful, and worked FAST but carefully. They let me know if something was damaged before they moved it, which I appreciated. Unlike other movers who won’t touch a box or tub that’s not perfectly sealed, they used shrink wrap like a Jedi wields a light saber… Everything stayed PERFECTLY intact and together.
I needed things loaded in a specific order to accommodate the unloading into a much smaller space and after the initial walk-​through, they NAILED IT! Ismael would clarify if he had questions but otherwise they just got it done.
NOTHING was damaged, bent or otherwise affected by the move. They were SO NICE, super hard workers and made me feel like we were working together.
This is the second time AB has moved me, we would use them in a heartbeat for another move. Ask for Ismael’s Crew… They’re the BEST!

Well, AB Moving and their customer service department is impressive. I’ve been contacted about my move and how they can make it right, but honestly, short of sending me some Benjamins, it is what it is. Maybe use my review as training in the future?
Sweet girl on the phone offered a discount off a future move (let’s hope that’s no time soon since I just bought a house), and a discount on house cleaning (I have a cleaning lady). So there’s not much they can do haha. But I do really appreciate that they care that everything went great and wants happy customers. That’s worth extra stars for sure. :)

Had two crews for my local move (one to pack and one to move). I’ve moved a lot over the years…7 cross country moves in 11 years so I know a thing or two about moving. Both crews were very professional (shock my hand and introduced themselves both times), made efficient work of packing my two bedroom place and then moving it the next day. I’d estimated about 4 – 5 hours to pack — the crew did it in 2 hours, which I have never had anyone pack my place that quickly and nothing was out of sorts post move. The moving team took just under 5 hours to load all the boxes, wrap all my furniture and unpack the truck/​unwrap all furniture. I have hardwood floors in my new place and they put down blankets to prevent them from getting scratched.
No hidden fees, everything was done on an iPad so I had a receipt of the move before each crew left. Very impressed and will most assuredly use them again and recommend to anyone moving in the DFW area!

This company was so easy to book and even easier to figure out how much it would cost! They work on an hourly basis. Three men showed up on time first thing in the morning and were very respectful and professional. They even fixed an old desk that had lost a few legs for us before moving it! It started raining when they unloaded and they never slowed down. We will gladly refer this company to anyone!

I don’t know if I could find a single thing to complain about with our move by AB Moving. We moved a very overcrowded 1600 sq ft home to a new much larger house. We knew we had more than one truckload of belongings, so instead of having the movers make 2 trips, AB Moving suggested 2 crews, so we had 6 movers and 2 trucks. It was a great idea, the 6 guys really worked well together. Every piece or furniture or belonging that could be scratched or broken was wrapped meticulously in blankets and plastic stretch wrap. This adds some time to the move, but the piece of mind is worth every penny.
At the new house (new construction) they took so much care to ensure they didn’t damage the property. They had special protectors for the stair rails, the front door, and they laid down long protective strips to protect the carpet. They managed to get some very heavy pieces up the stairs without scratching the walls or anything else.
The crew was professional and friendly.
Tony and Frank were our crew leaders and they were both very good at what they do.
If we ever move again we will 100% use AB Moving and we would recommend them to all friends/​family.

Have used them twice now! Very professional, and they do everything they say they’ll do. No issues with any of the pieces moved. I appreciated that the lead mover was always keeping an eye on how much furniture was left and how much room was left in the truck. They made sure to prioritize such that anything I could potentially move myself was left til last. They ended up fitting everything at the end but it was thanks to their planning.

Sadly, we used AB Moving when moving from Uptown Dallas to our location across Central Expressway, about ½ mile away. Seemed simple.
More than $ 1,000 of our belongings never showed-​up and our phone calls to try and recover our things were never returned. Several of our items went missing or were damaged in our short move — torn lampshades, dented furniture, plus missing clothes, kitchen items and more. We filed police reports and yet this place is still in business?
If you want the luck of the draw, choose AB Moving! PS ~ Be careful when using companies that appear at the beginning of the alphabet. They’re named that way for a reason.
Update 12÷19÷15: I see the owner’s update to my review and I understand the defensiveness. The reason I don’t want anything from AB Moving is because what has been stolen and damaged cannot be replaced — not even with money. I’m glad some people haven’t had issues with AB Moving but I see that some have … and I’m unfortunately one of them.

I drove a 16 ft. rental truck from Illinois to Dallas and scheduled AB Moving to unload the truck. I was supposed to have a 3 hour move-​in reservation at the apartment complex. However, just before AB Moving showed up, the management told me they were shutting down early for the Thanksgiving holiday, giving AB Moving just one hour to unload my truck and move everything to my apartment using an elevator. I was totally stressed out. I cannot believe how fast and carefully the two-​man crew moved my belongings… in just one hour. They were practically running back and forth to ensure my stuffed truck was unloaded before they locked the gates and released the elevator. I will use AB Moving from now on.

I used AB to load and unload my heavy furniture. They were worth every penny! Scheduling was very easy and I even got a discount for changing the date of my move. The office was always easy to get ahold of and pleasant to speak with. There were no hidden fees or surprises.
The movers were thorough, very fast, and friendly. None of my stuff was injured in the move. I was very happy! Will be calling this guys next time around.

AB Moving did an excellent job moving a few items into storage. I was initially worried about things getting torn in transit. The crew (Ismael, Ernesto & David) wrapped all my belongings with saran wrap multiple times. I bought a mattress cover from Public Storage that I will have to return as there is no need for it as my bed was wrapped and wrapped and wrapped some more. The guys took a little longer than I anticipated but once we were done, we headed to the storage facility which they unloaded everything to my 2nd level unit. They worked with the space I had to accommodate everything. The cost was a little pricey but well worth it knowing all my items had been wrapped. I forgot to tell the movers to keep my clothes boxes to the front. I called to get a quote to redo this and the manager told me they’d come out for free. How great is that!

I had a pretty good experience with AB. When we decided we were moving from Coppell to Plano, we decided within a week to do it over a weekend and use movers. I called a few companies, many here on Unilocal and AB gave me the lowest price quote. It had been raining all morning but the guys came toward the end of the quoted time period they gave me when I made the reservation. The guys were fast and packed up our two bedroom townhouse in no time.
They unloaded everything in record time as well and nothing was damaged or went missing. They had been working since 7:30 am and it was 6 pm at this point, so I felt bad for them. Everything went exactly like they quoted on the phone and the price was the same as well, no surprises. We tipped each guy and while I don’t want to move anytime soon, would definitely use them again.
