This is a great store with very helpful staff! My mom loved shopping here! My mom bought a great sweater set. They had unique jewelry too. It was full of eager shoppers. It’s a great spot to shop.

If you like artsy clothes by small designers, this is the place. Whether you are a size 0 petite or a 3x women’s or something in between, you will find something that looks great. Shopping here is an event. Not only are the clothes and accessories marvelous, but the shared commentary in the communal dressing area feels like performance art – and you won’t make a fashion mistake with so many mavens. The on-site tailors and helpful staff who will know if they have a certain piece in your size, or something similar that would complement the look, make this a MUST for shoppers. Hate shopping but love to look great? Try their free personal shopping service. I get a lot of compliments on the high-quality pieces I buy here.

Interesting pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Prices range from real bargains to pricey-but-worth-every-penny.

Designers Circus is my go-to place for fun and unique fashion pieces. If I happen to see these same items elsewhere, they’re always way more expensive than what I paid at the Circus. Shopping at the Circus is an adventure, guided by incredibly helpful staff. Awesome accessories and must-have separates, in addition to unusual and hard-to-find elsewhere fashion statements.

A trip to Designer’s Circus is always an adventure with so many great finds to be found. The staff is great at helping out, whether it’s finding coordinating piece/s or suggestions on what will bring an outfit together. Thank you Kathleen & The Boston Team!

Very friendly and helpful staff. A variety of fashions for all sizes and shapes. Great selection of accessories — i.e. scarves, wallets, pocketbooks, etc. I live within walking distance and when it is opened to the public, make multiple trips sometimes even twice a day.

This is my go-to place for interesting and unique clothing. The staff is very helpful and honest, and take a genuine interest in their customers’ desire to look and feel good. I have never walked out of this store with less than two pieces. As a smaller woman who is hard to fit, this place has been great.

I love shopping at Designers Circus. There are always so many items to choose from; I always come away with at least one new item. Often I find more than I should buy! Very frequently, when I wear something I purchased at Designers Circus, people comment positively on what I am wearing. The women who work in the store are always helpful, encouraging and offer an honest opinion and options as to how to wear something.

Designers Circus is the best. I am not a shopper; I don’t like malls; I don’t like trying on clothes or looking at clothes that are too expensive or poorly made. I love Designers Circus! Cool clothes, wonderful staff, and prices that are always reasonable, and often better than you would find anywhere else. I actually enjoy the whole experience at DC. A first for me!

One of the few places I’ll shop. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, and there’s a wide range of designers to meet everyone’s needs(though tending a bit towards the artsy). You’ll see all ages, shapes, and sizes in the dressing room, which is like being at a clothes trying-on party with your girlfriends. :)

So, I’m sure that if I were over 50, this would be a solid three star. Lots of clothes for the Eileen Fisher woman. There were certainly some finds to be had for the twenty and thirty somethings. There was a decent selection of lovely scarves and bags. They had Neesh, which I am partial to as well, but at $ 80 for the skirt I liked, I’ll stick to Second Time Around. I was dismayed to find that the other youngish label was only in samples of size small. Another big negative was the lack of private dressing rooms. It was laundry day and I was forced to try on my dress in front of a group of gray haired Newton types a little embarrassed by my unattractive underthings and complete lack of bra. There was even a clothing rack in the«dressing area» that people were browsing while I was trying to modestly cover my pale nakedness.
