Discount Tire Store – Alpharetta, GA

I hit a 4inch hole on 400 right before exit 11. It was 9 am in the morning. I called and they told me to tow my car in and they will take care of it. I ended up cracking both front and back rims on the passenger side. My wheels were ordered within minutes. They even offered to keep my car at no charge until the wheels came in. 2 days later the rims came in, and I was all set. I even bought a new set of tires. Jonathan was a big help! Thanks for a easy experience! I like the fact that John focused on what NEEDED to be fixed and didn’t try the sell me something over the top!

I chose Discount Tire based on the positive reviews I read on Unilocal.I’m pleased to say, the reviews were spot on; my experience was a good one.
I noticed a small cut on the tire wall of my vehicle and was told by my dealership that I would need to replace my tires. Despite the fact that it was not a deep cut (barely noticeable), I believed them. Mind you, my car is barely one year old and only has 8000 miles on it. The tires look new.
I decided to get my tires changed when I returned to town and contacted Discount Tire. I spoke to Austin on the phone and explained my situation. I provided him with tire specs, prepared to purchase new tires. Austin suggested I bring the car in so he could analyze the situation prior to having me replace the tires. He offered me a free estimate.
When I arrived I was greeted by Austin, who gave me his undivided attention. He thoroughly inspected each tire and told me there was absolutely no need to replace my tires. He went on to show me how the small cut that I perceived on my tire wall was simply «a flap» that would not affect my tires or the safety of me or others on the road. Relieved to hear I would not have to bear the burden of paying for a new set of tires, I asked them to rotate and fill my tires with air.
They performed the work within 40 minutes while I waited, and did an exceptional job.
Discount Tire has earned my trust and respect. I will definitely use them from now on.

These guys really seem to care. I needed new tires desperately on the back two but wasn’t in a position to buy four new tires. They offered to sell me great condition used tire for only $ 25, or even loan me a tire if I couldn’t afford that! I could afford the used one. So I ended up getting one new tire and one slightly used tire for $ 133.00, including installation. That’s a damn good deal!

WOW!!! What excellent Customer Service from my phone call to let them know I was coming, until they gave me my keys and I was on my way. I came in on a Saturday, an hour before I had to go to work. I called and spoke with Tim and he said «come on in & we’ll get ya taken care of» and they surely did. Tim also helped me when I arrived. He went and looked at my tires with me and gave me the real feedback on what I needed and not what he needed $$$$. Tim’s Guest Relation services are impeccable. He got to know me and we even lived in the same town years ago. This really makes an impact on my decision on returning some where and I will definitely drive an hour away to have this location take care of my tires. They also had it all done much quicker than I anticipated! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great staff and great results. I have taken several cars (from Audi to Lamborghini) there and been pleased with the outcome each time.

I was upset that I had to go to a car service place at 8 in the morning to spend money on stuff I didn’t want to spend money on… however I went here and it was a very pleasant experience. This was my first time at this Discount Tire. I keep going back to DS due to their impeccable customer service. And this one continues down the path of great CS. I had a tire that was wore abnormally and could have not been under warranty due to the type of wear. But Jonathan from this store took great care of me and not only replaced my tire for free, he also gave me a deep discount on the other tire that was a bit wore. Excellent CS and with service like this no wonder why I’m a continuing customer!

I just absolutely had to write a review of this place. I was assisted by John and Tim, I believe was his name. I came in because I had a nail in my tire –nothing major. But they were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous to everyone who walked in that door. It’s really a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ shot when a woman walks into an auto repair shop. We seem to be prey! However I have been going to this Discount Tire for years and have never felt they were trying to upsell me-​they were just interested in giving me excellent customer service. They give you great prices and realistic timelines for the job. They’ve got my business!

Impressive. The entire team at this location is just that, a team. They work as one and are eager to assist. I was doing my research on 4 new tires. I found one place about $ 60 less expensive for comparable services but my comfort level after speaking to Beau over the phone led me here. When I arrived, I never even met Beau because he was assisting someone else but each individual working acknowledged my presence and offered assistance. I was told I’d be out in an hour. I went to Kroger, came back 50 minutes later and my car was parked at the front door. All in all, I’ll say it again, my experience was impressive.

Truly amazing. I just left there, and it was the best experience I ever had at any sort of car place. I’m new to the area and decided to give it a try. I can easily get taken advantage of when it come to cars, but not these guys. I explained my circumstances to the manager, Tim, and he went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate me and explained everything to me along the way. After a long day at work, the last thing I wanted to deal with was car trouble, but I’m so happy I went. My car got out super fast, even after I came in close to closing. The staff is fun and inviting too! They even let me use special soap after I got some gnarly grime on my hands when I was showing them my tires. Such gentleman. Really there to make your day easier. So so thankful for these guys! Go nowhere else!

Love love love the guys at Discount Tires! It’s so refreshing to not be looked at as if you are an Alien whenever you have questions about tires, rotations, or anything else. I’m already weary of tire places, scared that I’m gonna get ripped off due to my lack of knowledge. These guys are so awesome, and always look out for my best interest ! Thank you !!!

I received an email update from Discount Tire a few weeks ago saying I was due for a tire check. I just moved to Alpharetta and noticed this location as I was driving down the street and thought I should stop by. Tim and Freddy greeted me almost before I even stepped out of my car! They were so helpful and nice! They inflated one of my tires and rotated them very quickly. Great service :)

Had 4 brand new tires put on my suv best price and great service. TJ took care of me very cool guy and very professional.

I researched and considered other tire places, including tire reack, tires plus, NTB, Kaufmann, Sears, Walmart, Sam’s, etc. and decided to go with DT because of their price matching. Tires were special ordered and arrived quickly. Made an appointment and was incredibly fast. Best customer service! Jay was exceptional as was all the service people I met today. Never pressured to buy anything. Provided fair estimate which was exactly what was originally discussed. Waiting area has free wi-​fi and drinks. Very clean and great convenient location. My only regret is I’ll have to wait until my tires wear out on my other car which may be another two years before I can come back. I will highly recommend to everyone that I come across, including co-​workers to come here.

I started checking around for tires for my 2014 wrangler the last month or so. Via physical locations and internet. My initial visit I was helped by one of the guys (apologize, forgot your name) and he gladly brought several different makes and sizes of tires out to my jeep so I could see the differences.
Fast forward to
The last couple of days. I call in and ask Chris (Kris, sp?) if he can match an online price and he gladly did. So, I went ahead with the order. My work hours are long and two of the five tires weren’t available on my one day off. Chris and Tim called several times to make sure I was ok with that and to see if there was anything more they could do. At this point they already went above and beyond and showed they truly cared! Even more impressive they managed to have the last two tires (Duratrac’s) at there store in one day exceeding my expectation once again. And to top it off??? Chris volunteered to come in early and do it before I had to be at my job. As the rest of the crew showed up the whole tire swap was accomplished in 40-​ish minutes!

I hate writing this negative review for DT because I’ve bought all my tires here for the last 15 yrs and send my friends here. still great price but this location tries to screw you over any chance they get. Much like buying a used car experience.
They refused to rotate my tires because they said the front two were too warn out and tried to pressure me into buying an expensive set of four. I did my homework and came back and bought two comparable tires to replace the warm ones.
I’ll keep buying my tires from DT but do your homework and don’t send your wife here alone. She’ll leave with a set of $ 2000 tires if they can scare her into it.

A lot of people have told me that I drive hard, and I go through tires quicker than most people. With all of the damn construction that has been going on around the area I live what seems to be at least a year, making sure your tires are in top shape has been difficult. In the past month alone, 6 people I know just in the immediate area have gotten nails in their tires (thanks for cleaning up after yourselves, a-​holes). I was one of those unfortunate.
Since my Ford dealer was booked, I needed to look at other options. My sis told me about a place down the street from our house, and they repair tires for free (even if you didn’t buy them from DT!). I needed new tires anyway (putting 35K miles on them, which is a shock, I am usually good for 25−30K on a set), so I decided to shop online. The one thing about DT’s website I liked is the fact it showed the inventory for each tire at each location. I found a set at the location by my house, and decided to go.
I went in, and was greeted cheerfully, I told the guy about the tires I saw online, and he looked em up– and found them. I decided to get them– along with the replacement plan (especially with all the roadwork around, I didn’t want to risk anything) — where they will get you new tires for free if they mess up or explode for any reason. He told me it would take about 30 minutes, I didn’t have to be anywhere. I enjoyed the bottled water and kept playing with the single serve coffee machine as I got to watch them put on my tires. 20 minutes later, my car was good to go!
$ 785 later, my car drove like a dream. Still does! From a safety standpoint, it is nice to know I can get a tire fixed less than a mile from home, with the professional and friendly/​quick service included. Even though I usually stick with my car dealer to get it serviced, I just found my new home for tires. Thanks again DT for keeping my rubbers safe :)
PS– they also service TPMS (tire pressure monitor systems) which can actually go bad every once in a while– which can be a hassle, if you think your car is low on air, when it really isn’t– just a thought I would throw out there!

Is there a way I can give them 6 stars? Unbelievable customer service! Manager Kyle Stephens and his team are incredible! I have been a customer for over three years and whether they are fixing a flat for me, rotating and balancing my tires or I am buying new tires, they treat me like a valued customer… consistently.

I needed to replace some tires and jumped online to research the best set for my car. What I found is that there are a ton of sites containing reviews on every make, model and size of tire out there. I also found that prices on tires vary greatly from one retailer to the next. I think after my research I would be willing to bet that reviews on tires have to be the most widely disagreed upon product out there. For each tire made, there are people who swear by them, and others who claim the tires nearly killed them and they would never buy them again. It seems like such a crap shoot that you find yourself searching multiple sites and reviews before you can get a solid handle on what seems to be a genuine consensus.
What I did find very helpful was Discount Tire’s website that allows you to read hundreds of reviews on every possible tire that can fit your car from actual customers who bought them, even the ones from those who hated the tires they bought. It even identifies reviews from people who have your same car, which is really pretty cool, if you think about it. What I also discovered was that true to its name, Discount Tire actually has considerably lower prices that many other tire retailers/​installers. For reference, I went to the wib sites of NTB, Kaufman, Tires Plus, Tire Rack, Sears, Butler, Goodyear, Firestone and several others to get a complete picture of prices on tires was considering. Discount Tire had the lowest prices compared to all the other shops. I made an appointment online and arrived 2 days later. As I walked in, the guy behind the counter looked up and said «Adam?» It was nice to know they were actually waiting for me and had ordered my tires to be in the shop when I got there.
The mechanics at the shop are really quick. They had my car in and out in under 1 hour, and that was with 4 complete tire changes and a spare tossed back in the trunk.
The service at DT in Alpharetta is excellent. Everyone I spoke to was polite, friendly and very professional. They made the entire process seem effortless and streamlined.
Do your homework when you shop for tires. There are a ton of resurces out there and many different prices for the same product. It takes a while to find the right type and the best cost.
