Our pizza recipes come straight from the Italian Home Made Cuisine to be served in a variety of Pasta, Pizza and more… We are specialized in Spaghetti sauce that made from scratch like all other sauces, not to forget our Special White Sauce that is used to serve many dishes, our creamy Garlic sauce used for our best tasting Bianco Veggie pizza, Our Bolognese sauce used on our Bolognese pizza, Our Special Thai Buffalo sauce used for our wings and even our unique Lemon Zest dressing used in our Monte Mare Salad are made with a special Middle East hand using the finest ingredients and spices.

Established in 2014.

In January 2014 Double Play Pizza re-​opened under a new ownership. Double Play Pizza new owners have put a kick to what we like to call 100% Real Italian Flavor.

Today we are proud to serve delicious Italian Flavor pizza made from only the freshest high quality ingredients. Our #1 goal is to serve you with the tastiest pizza around, adding to that the wide selection of Italian Appetizers, Salads & Subs…

In November, 27th of 2015 Double Play Pizza Family decided to unite the Italian Flavor and the Lebanese tase by launching «Al Sultan Mediterranean Flatbread» Concept. This Concept serves a daily fresh made-​to-​order healthy food, that you can never forget.

They are never open on time. It’s 11:45 and I’ve called three times and now answer. This isn’t the first time it has happened. Terrible.

Went Thursday night & got 2 large pizzas, one cheese & one pepperoni. I got the regular crust not a flat bread type. This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The crust is like cardboard, the sauce has no flavor & it was very greasy. A frozen pizza with freezer burn from a dollar store would taste better. If you want a cheap pizza go to Little Ceasars. Worst pizza in Rancho Cucamonga. Would not feed this food to my dog or recommend it for human consumption.

We were intrigued by the idea of Middle Eastern pizzas. They’re certainly more like flatbreads than pizzas but it is comparable to a personal pizza. We tried some with the different meats and cheeses, but the cheese and zaatar combination was by far our favorite. It was even more delicious knowing it was only $ 3. My only qualm is that we waited for about 30 minutes for the small flatbread, but you get what you pay for. I’d suggest calling ahead if you want to order from here.

Second time I’ve tried calling this place after 11 o’clock to get a delivery. Called multiple times it’s now 11:30 and over it.
Always order 3 or more pizzas every other week via a college class at Chaffey. Lost my business. Should be open when your hours say you are.

I won’t be ordering from this location again. They add minimal toppings I always have to order double cheese and even still two complete slices had NO cheese on them and I can literally count at a glance the spinach leaves on my pizza, The pizza was burned in some spots and was almost cold by the time it made it to my door and hard as if it had been sitting for some time. Not much better than a school lunch pizza!

SUB-​PAR QUALITY! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! This was my maiden voyage with Doubleplay. It definitely is not the best pizza I’ve ever had. It had a sort of frozen pizza taste to it. You know that salty, preservative taste the frozen pizzas have? We had a large pie with 5 toppings, wings and a 2 liter. $ 21.95? Know how many hot & ready pizzas you can get for $ 21.95? OR you can just pick up a couple of frozen pizzas and get the same quality. Either option gives more bang for the buck! And yes the wings were over cooked & sub-​par too. Sorry Doubleplay but my maiden voyage went the way of the Titanic. You folks need to step it up.

Me and my family have been coming here for 25+ years and have witnessed all the changes and owners this place has had and have stuck with the place until now. Pizza was horrible, and made my whole family violently ill within minutes of eating it, and we did not recover till the next day. Stay far away from this place and do you and your family a favor and just eat ANYWHERE ELSE, you’ll save money and extra trips to the bathroom all night.

Not happy with our food, sorry guys! Even after telling them over the phone I was a first time customer my pizza order was wrong, pizza was dry and with a hard dough, lazanha was made with only ground beef, no cheese and barely any sauce! The antipasto salad was good but still tomatoes were old and mushy and vegetables like olives, mushroom and carrots were definitely from the freezer and not fresh… Disappointing… Our family is definitely NOT coming back to this place. To us good prices have to match good tasty food as well!

Order their carry out for $ 5.99 with $ 1.00 off for showing them the Unilocal coupon and would not honor it arguing pizza was already at carry out special price, as for pizza quality Little Ceasers is better tasting and their wings were tough and stale. Definitely not fresh. Will never order from their again. First and last time.

We have become regular customers at Double Play over the past 3 or 4 months. Always ordering the same large pizza & garden salad. The toppings seem fresh and the service and delivery overall is friendly and efficient. There have been a few mistakes in our order & pricing discrepancies but we have let them pass.
But last night probably will be our last order with them.
We placed our order at 5pm for a large pizza & garden salad. We were told delivery would be approx. an hour and 35 mins. It was Halloween so we understood and said that was okay.
Our pizza was delivered at 6:30 as expected… but, the delivery person ‘forgot’ our salad. She apologized and said she would be back shortly with the salad. So we waited for dinner as our pizza sat getting cold.
She finally returned with the salad about 7:10. With an apology.
We understand mistakes happen, etc. But most restaurants concerned with repeat business would have definitely given us a price break on our order or an offer of our next order being discounted, etc.
Definitely will be looking for another place for our weekly pizza & salad.

Today I went to the Liquor Store off of Lemon and found out that Double Play reopened. I was cautious so do this, but I grabbed a menu and decided to order a pizza later on to give them another chance.
I ended up ordering a pepperoni and sausage pizza. All I can say is that in my original review I gave them 1 star and now they’re keeping the 1. I don’t know what they’re doing, maybe they’re using frozen toppings or something, but the taste just isn’t there. I’m still not a fan of this place and will not order again, but at least I gave them another try… Which I really regret doing.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! Owners are cheating crooks! They placed an ad in Inland Empire Mag that they refused to honor. I offered to send a pic and they still refused. Coupon was just sent in the mail and still good. Beware coupling is for football special $ 23.99. Customer service is a joke! Again never go here. I have no idea why they would buy this place if they just planned on running it into the ground! Don’t see this place lasting at this rate.

Several years ago, the pizza here was fine. Then the level of quality extremely deteriorated. I hadn’t had their pizza for a long while, since it got quite bad. Then, a couple of months ago, we had some again, and it was so much improved!!!
Double Play has new owners and it is so much better. I did think they should have changed the name to get more customers who might’ve been displeased with the prior food offered.
They recently had a great special, consisting of 3 large, 2 topping pizzas for only $ 19.99. Wow! What a great price! Also they have a $ 5 large cheese or pepperoni for pick-​up. I haven’t tried the pepperoni, but I’ve purchased the cheese ones numerous times. One of my daughters wants the plain cheese at least once a week. Also they have a very fresh salad for $ 5 that feeds about 3. If you haven’t been here lately, make sure to stop by and give it a try.

New ownership. Tried the $ 5 large pizza, it was edible and not bad for 5 bucks but not very good either. I miss the old double play crust.
