Schmitt Prosthodontics specializes in the reconstruction and replacement of teeth, as well as restoring the natural balance both esthetically and functionally. Specifically to do with crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and implants. Dr. Schmitt uses this training to improve techniques, materials and overall results. We don’t just handle how your teeth look, but also how your mouth functions.
History
Established in 2005.
Dr. Scott Schmitt practiced dentistry with his father, Dr. Charles Schmitt in Maitland, Florida. Specializing in Prosthodontics inspired Dr. Scott Schmitt to open his own practice to better serve our patients needs. His growth in the Central Florida geographical area has been an incredible success and testimony to determination. Our ever expanding community needed a prosthodontist that can work with the area specialists and general dentists to achieve the most ethical treatment plan. At Schmitt Prosthodontics we believe we should obtain the smile we were designed to have.
Dr. Scott Schmitt is married with three children and lives in the Central Florida area.

Dr. Schmitt is a Prosthodontist. This means he has had three extra years of speciality postgraduate training, specifically limited to crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures and implants. Dr. Schmitt focuses on the reconstruction and replacement of teeth with a focus on restoring the natural balance to the entire chewing system, both esthetically and functionally. In another words, he doesn’t just handle how the teeth look but also how the mouth functions as a whole.
Raised in Longwood, Dr. Schmitt is dedicated to serving the Orlando community in which he was raised. This makes practice even more rewarding each day. He and his wife Kim met at Lake Mary High School and have three children, Madeline, Julia and Charlie. He enjoys keeping fit both mentally and physically and pursues many active hobbies, including surfing, playing guitar, camping, and photography
