I really don’t know if the training is bad or it’s just an awful place to work, but every time I get a coffee here it’s scorched! Not just hot but the milk tastes burnt. Too bad they replaced the roasters on 45^th.

Located in Hastings bookstore.
This coffee shop is like a coffeeshop found in a bookstore, but they had a drive-thru. Friendly knowledgeable staff. There are several coffee tables seating one or two patrons a piece.
I didn’t realize the kind of place I was going to based on the other Unilocal review. I cannot comment on the quality of coffee or what they brew because I was too scared to get a drip, instead I got an iced hazelnut latte. It was a pure sugar rush to the brain, which means I loved it.
Clean space, friendly baristas, and a sugar rush. Right on par with Starbucks.

This was the hip place for the locals. Clearly the place to be for your morning cup o joe and light pastry or bagel. The staff was ultra friendly and willing to talk about you…
