1. They Charge You a $ 1.00 Dollar to use your MONEY(Debit) at their restaurant. Next time let the customer know or have a sign up. 2. They advertise pupusas will be ready in 15 minutes. Well it took 30+ and they were not busy. 3. The pupusas were just OK pretty tasteless. I had to over salt just to get a good taste in my mouth. I had high hopes for this place as I would always pass by it when I would get alcohol on my way to Disneyland. I will definitely not be coming back.

I’ve been here twice with my Salvi friend and both times the food was delicious. The first time we went was a weekday. We ordered 4 pupusas and the wait was about 15 minutes. A little long but hey, at least they make them fresh. The second time we went we ordered ahead over the phone and picked them up. Saves time and the food is just as good. I’m glad this place is so close. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

The best pupuseria in town. The lady that made our pupusas name is Karla. Excellent! Tasty and plump filled pupusas.

Pupusas were filled very well and were great! Would come back again even though I did not speak Spanish and they did not speak English I was able to order and get it correct

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, the pupusas are very oily and cheesy, the curtido is not that good and they take forever to serve you. Not a good place if you’re looking for a really Salvadoran restaurant

The only things good is when the owners not around. Pupusa(s) are distinctively different and they offer Bottled Beverages. Specials are nice during the week Tuesday and Wednesday when the owner is around them pupusas are real small and they have no-real fillings hardly anything, an overpriced handmade tortilla especially when it’s burnt. Their sign should say, offering custom, hand made, made to order tortillas. Hey owner, Do your job; assist the kitchen better, attend them, help them lead. Expedite the process effectively. When going in with two other groups of people and that boss mans around, poor service! I was surprised the older man was capable of opening another business with poor treatment of his clientele. Paraque se pone hechar guerra con los clientes se les pone de ariba a las meseras, a las muchachas. El cliente puede ser fello, pueda hablar mejor tendra talento para la lengua o es que el cliente tendra la razon… I hope this will help him understand that it’s a commercial, public business. It’s a public service.

It’s a love/hate relationship with this place… their pupusas are good. If you’re looking for good Salvadorian food, this would be the place, but don’t expect good service. I go during the weekdays and it’s «ok» service but did not like their service on the weekend at all! Went to buy food, paid for the food… told me they were going to take 25 minutes, instead it was over 45 minutes. Since it took them longer, I decided to buy an ensalada drink while waiting. I was informed that I was going to get charged $ 1 for using my credit card. Told her since I had made a big purchase earlier and still waiting for it, if she can just remove the credit card charge. She said no, all credit card purchases get charged a dollar. Told her«so you’re telling me you charged me a dollar without letting me know». She said«yes, it says right here…» She removed the pupusas menu list on the wall and showed me their note, that was under the pupusas menu. I laughed and said, u didn’t notify in the beginning and made an extra charge and the note was not showing, how is the«ok». Said, sorry, I would still need to make the charge. Keep in my mind, it’s not the amount of being charged, they just didn’t have the decency of saying anything in the beginning. Recommend of going but take cash, and order take out instead…

The pupusas are fresh and big here, but I liked Nancy’s pupusas better. The location is small, you pay for your meal up front and the service isn’t bad. It’s a good spot if you’re near by and are craving pupusas.

Tragic! They messed up my order twice and to top it off the second time wasn’t even correct… the waitress then blamed it on me that the order was incorrect and charged for the replacements… I only occasionally have pupusas so I’m no expert but these were flavorless in comparison… Sorry but this was a no go!!!

I was running errands during my lunch break and came across this lil restaurant so decided to give it a try. Ordered 2 pupusas, one with cheese and a «mixta» one(bean, cheese and some sort of meat) and a soda. Had to pay an extra $ 1 for using a credit card so total came out to $ 7.30. Pupusas took about 10 minutes to come out and they give you a big container with some cabbage salad and red hot sauce. Since I don’t eat spicy, I just put some of the cabbage on top. Perhaps they do rely on the hot sauce for taste cause I felt they were kinda bland. The pupusas themselves were kinda dry which is good because I remember them being deep fried greasy at other places. The one with white cheese was sort of a mozzarella cheese lacking a bit of salt. The mixed one had so little meat I couldn’t even tell what it was. Overall, the food wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. The door had an extra door bar you had to open so kinda ghetto. There seemed to be just one girl taking orders/waitressing but she was very nice.

Best pupusas I’ve ever had!!! Sooooo delicious. They were enormous with tons of filling and only about $ 2 each! Surprise surprise. Oh and their curtido(a pickled cabbage slaw) is amazing! Crunchy, fresh and a little tangy. Unlike anything I had ever had anywhere else. I usually hate the stuff. Coming from a central American background, I can tell you these are quality delicacies. I can’t wait to go back and get some platanos fritos and black beans: my favorite!!!

I’m a Salvadorian and I have to say the food here is very delicious. The prices on their food are reasonable and the customer service is very nice. Great food all around.

I love this place for a quick delicious lunch. The pupusas come out piping hot and the cabbage and tomato salsas complement the flavor perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was the first time I had ever tried pupusas. I was referred to this place by two co-workers who highly recommended it. It was only 5 – 10 minutes away from my work so I decided to try it. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall that’s located next to a Hookah Smoke Shop. When I first walked in, there was only one other table being occupied by a family. They have about 8 booths total, and a TV playing. It appeared to be a husband & wife establshment(husband is the greeter/cashier/server, wife is the cook). The menu does not come in English so I asked him which pupusas he recommended. He was very helpful and brought out the cabbage and salsa to put on top! I got one queso con frijoles(bean & cheese) and one rueveltas(beef, bean & cheese). they were a fairly decent size with lots of fling inside! I was only able to eat 1−½ of them. They are also reasonably priced. I believe 2 pupusas and 1 coke came out to $ 6. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving good pupusas in the Anaheim area.

well this is a Salvadoran restaurant but they serve small street tacos only after 10. Tacos were great $ 1.25 each. These are the very tiny kind. Meat we had was all really good and fresh(lengua, al pastor and carne asada). Really want to go back during normal business hours for the Salvadoran food though!

This place is kinda adorable, Happy music, yellow walls… definitely an adorable, small El Salvadorian hideaway. I tried the Cheese Pupusa … and they were OK, but a little dry. The sauce was good… but not fabulous. However this place gets an A for effort because it is so super adorable and all the dishes that the waitress was serving looked amazing. The set up was comfortable, service was good… i will totally be back here!

Camer here after attempting two nearby Peruvian restaurants(I was set on South American food!). It’s really a difficult place to see as it’s a not-well-lit-small-hidden-strip-mall. Walked in to be greeted with a menu completely in Spanish on the walls. Oops. I don’t speak Spanish. I notice that near the register there are some menus for sit-down-diners so I rush over to grab one. Salvation! Nope… also all in Spanish. That’s when people start noticing the small, skinny Asian kid in the restaurant. Oops, was I not supposed to come in? A lady in the back is filling up a cup and signals, «give me just a moment»(pinching her thumb and pointing finger together with a slight squint and a big smile). I wait patiently while browsing the menu. I’m approached. I confess. «I have no idea what your menu means» «do you know what a pupusa is?» «well, kinda… it’s been years» Her English is good enough. There’s a customer who helps translate and make some recommendations. I feel uncomfortable asking for help(not to say by any means that they aren’t happy to oblige) and quickly just order something that looked like a combo item on the back. Success! I wait a few minutes and notice the customers and employees all getting along great! Nice, smooth banter(from what I can suspect). It’s a nice atmosphere. I think to myself, «I want to come here just to support such a nice place in my community». Food comes, I ask for extra extra salsa and take it home to eat. What did I get myself into? The food is vehemoth. I can’t even spell, write, remember what I ordered but it was delicious. I would go back in a heartbeat(next time I crave some El Salvadorian food). I give this place 4.5 stars(but rounding up in hopes of getting some others to come here and test it out) but knock off the .5 stars for a) not having an English menu and more importantly b) their salsa tastes more like a mix of del taco’s mild sauce mixed together with tomato purée. Next time, I’m having tapatio on deck.
