First and last time here. For 8.99 a person for weekday lunch, we simply couldn’t resist. We sat down smack in the middle of the restaurant. Your typical AYCE setting. Bland paint and random décor. There was no denying you were at an AYCE Asian restaurant. I won’t go into details, except the food here was as bad as you could eat without getting anything(I hope). The food had been sitting, and most of it was dry and greasy. Service was great though.

One of my favorite chinese buffets. They have a wide variety and not to mention they have sashimi. They have the best shrimp soup! Price is not bad either. $ 13.99 for dinner.

so far this buffet is one of the best ones. their food is amazing and there were a lot of options. i didnt know they served Mongolian noodles either! great selection. i was excited about the calamari but it disappointed me because it was too salty. their honey barbecue was realllly good, and the roast beef was perfect! unfortunately, what disgusted me was that there was a fly flying around the food and landed on them! and i even tried swatting them away! rude and loud people around. overall it was good but since we went on fathers day, it was very crowded and noisy.

Argh, I’m so torn about this place. It’s not bad but not excellent either. But I don’t think there’s «excellent» Chinese buffet, is there? I did enjoy a few things here: fried calamari, clams, fried crabs, shrimp balls, hot and sour soup. The fruits were very good when I went. The ice cream is individually packaged and the chocolate is the best. The teppan grill flavor was not bad either. The not-so-good is crab legs and crawfish. Super stale, rubbery, and unflavorful. So I’d say the food is more 3 stars but since my experience was enjoyable, I pumped it to 4.

3.5 stars. All of OC Aye Asian buffets this is my number one pick and my favorite is their hibachi grill. I wish they had a steam mixed vegetable selection, then I would give it four stars. Overall good experience. Will be back soon! Thank you Teppenyaki Grill

Sunday Lunch Buffet Prices as of April 2016 $ 13.59 Kids 7 – 10: $ 7.99 Kids 3 – 6: $ 5.59 Kids age 2 and younger free This buffet offers a good selection of Asian and American food. Some of the items I liked at the Sunday buffet line up: A variety of seafood is offered at this buffet. CRABLEGS Shrimp cooked in a variety of ways(Tempura, salt and pepper, and served cold) Mongolian Grill Sushi Station Lobster Manila Clams Salad Bar My Kids enjoyed: Pizza Spaghetti Fried Chicken Wings French Fries Desserts: There had jello, pies, cakes, and ice cream. Service: The day we came it was quite busy. We were quickly greeted and waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Our server was attentive, she kept our drinks filled and our table clear. Since the restaurant was pretty full the buffet was constantly filled with fresh food. Children need to be attended when they visit the buffet. I saw the staff kindly reminding unattended children to get an adult to come up with them. Overall: We enjoyed our time here. It was worth the money we spent and we plan to return when we come back to Anaheim to visit Disneyland.

They sat us in the back. Servers are nice. Everyone was coughing and sneezing and it was just so congested with people. I honestly felt like they don’t listen as far as asking for refills. Food was ok, I was really afraid to eat certain things because customers just had terrible manners. If you’re looking for a joint to eat at and not worried about germs and everyone sneezing and can coughing all over the place, then by all means Bön appetite!!! 1 star is because ice cream was decent… but aside from that everything is kinda meh(some are hit and miss) I got stomachache after I left the place. and then of course I had diarrhea afterwards… I didn’t believe the review here I figured all Chinese buffet are the same and people are just being dramatic(or expecting some Michelin restaurant food at a cheap buffet.) until I experienced it myself…(the crab legs were cold although they place it at hot steaming water… which was weird I had one and find out it was cold so I stopped eating it…) I didn’t even touch the sushi because it looks pretty scary since they didn’t even keep it refrigerated. If you’re trying to practice iron stomach this is the place to go… but I doubt I’ll ever go back there ever again.

Never again. Don’t do it. Cough up those few extra bucks and go to a respectable Asian buffet.

Extraordinary food, I love it. I’d recommend going again. Go to this place and check it out. Customer service is awesome, even though the employees are Japanese

I can’t believe a place like this is still in business. It needs to be shut down, thoroughly cleansed from roof to the ground and the plumbing is probably broken. It’s a very dirty place and the food smells awful and the restroom made me want to gag! When I left, my clothes still reeked of this nasty place. Just gross! Don’t waste your money. Also NONE of the employees speak English so trying to ask for vegan options was impossible.

This place literally scares me sometimes. I’ve eaten here a few times with friends and every single time I’ve gotten the same exact things, only because everything else makes me nervous. This is an AYCE buffet and let me tell you, for the price you pay, this really pars up. I believe last time we went we paid ~$ 10−13/person. Not bad right? The buffet area has a variety from italian, chinese and even japanese. I try to be conscientious of the food, especially if it looks like it’s been sitting out for a while. I personally have never touches the sushi bar… sushi sitting out on plates with no proper refrigeration… yikes. The Teppanyaki Grill isn’t bad, you pick what you want, although I wish they cut the meats smaller while grilling. Tipping is available at this section. The overall restaurant is always packed, for the most part it is clean, not the cleanest, but clean enough to sit at and enjoy your meal. Servers are all over the place but can sometimes be hard to find one when really needed. Giving this place two stars because of price and selection.

This is was by far the worse place I have ever ate. The sliced beef had the aftertaste of soap and I could not get the taste out of my mouth. I spat up the food and then ended up throwing up at the table. I went to the dirty bathroom and threw up the entire contents of my stomach. When I got back to my hotel I then had diarrhea a couple hours later. My brother was then up most of the night throwing up and also having diarrhea. Totally ruined the next day in Disneyland for him, poor thing was so exhausted and unwilling to eat anything the next day. My sister in law, thankfully just threw up but did not have diarrhea. Please do not eat here for your own sake!

Not a huge fan of buffets because most of them have been just quantity over quality, and you do have to have that in mind when going to most buffets. This particular buffet is one of the better ones around here. What makes me believe that is their teppanyaki grill station that they have! Just like any Mongolian grill place, you stack your veggies, meats and seafood, and the noodles you actually stack it on yourself here. Then the chef cooks it in front of you, and asks you if you want garlic, spicy etc. The noodles are actually really good here, I think I might like it over Genghis Khan’s or other Mongolian places. This is what I usually will get full on because it feels more fresh to me than having it already cooked. For lunch prices around $ 8, it is totally worth it. For dinner prices, maybe not as much. They have an array of seafood, fried food, Asian, American etc. Nothing stands out to me as much. The fresh seafood gets hoards of hungry people fighting over crab legs. Although, I have seen this type of behavior at other buffets over crab legs. I love sushi but not at buffets. I usually get some type of stomachache after eating sushi at buffets and I always have to tell myself to steer clear of the sushi. Dessert section is kinda weak sauce here. They have some fruits, jellies, super artificial looking and smelling cake, and prepackaged ice cream(tastes weird). In the end, everyone stuffs themselves usually over their limit at buffets and goes into food coma. I was good this time, and did not over do it. Still had food/msg coma though. I think I’m over these buffets, I’d rather go to a healthier one, like Souplantation or something.

An all you can eat Asian buffet. Oh joy, you know what that means? Pretending the food is better than it is because you can eat as much as you want. Look, I know that you come to AYCE places with a different mindset than other restaurants. You come expecting to stuff your face, and you become used to seeing trays of fried rice and salt & pepper squids next to chicken nuggets and fries. I get that. That doesn’t mean I get to be happy about it. First of all, coming here anytime for dinner or on the weekends can and will be a nightmare. I’m sure the building has some sort of capacity, but looking around the dining room I don’t think they care if they meet those numbers. The tables are really jammed in so tight to get as many people in at once, which makes sense from a purely economic standpoint but makes navigating through the sea of people just terrible. Service is… I don’t know how service is. We’ve never had any real issues personally, but I have viewed nearby issues and it always feels like it’s on the verge of becoming a bad time for everyone involved. The front desk, when at their busiest, seems unwilling and unable to get your information right. «We need a table for 7 people». «7:00?» “No, 7 people.” «Oh, 7 people.» «How long will the wait be about?» «No.» “That’s not an actual answer, but ok.“ There are gems in the food, things that aren’t too bad. It’s still buffet style, so it isn’t the best food, but not the worst I’ve had by any means. But…umm…grrr…okay, I know I can’t really blame a restaurant for their customers, but they allow this kind of behavior so I place blame with all parties involved. Crab legs. People will hover around, waiting on crab legs. And then when they come out, it’s just pandemonium. Shoving and grabbing and pushing. All for crab legs. What is wrong with you people? Control yourselves! They are just crab legs. It seems like a stupid complaint, but they’re right in the middle of everything. Do you want something right next to the crab legs? Better hope they aren’t bringing out a new tray of crab legs, or else prepare to be pushed and cursed at for daring to try and look like you might be thinking about eating a crab leg. It’s a buffet, you get what you expect. I can’t bring myself to sing its praises though.

I have to give this place big ups… I’m iffy with Asian buffets, but this place was actually decent! Our relatives reserved one of the large party rooms for our party of 30. There was a lot of selections to choose from, which I found surprising. Most of the food was fresh and the staff kept refilling the most popular dishes. The restaurant was clean for the most part, although the place was packed! I enjoyed the mongolian buffet and the chefs making my noodles fresh. I did request garlic and spicy sauce and boy did they pack on the spicy sauce — OMG!!! They literally got a huge serving spoon and threw the sauce on my pile of noodles… YIKES!!! The staff that waited on us was friendly and fast. They continued to remove our plates once we were done. We didn’t feel rushed, especially given the restaurant was really busy. Happy this place got an A rating… Unlike the last Asian buffet we went too a few weeks prior!

Unilocal challenge 201631⁄116 When the clock strikes 6:00pm this place gets busy. Lots of people waiting by the time we were done. Anytime before 5:30, zero wait. Be prepared to shimmy in between tables, around guests and dodge servers, while inhaling everyones pits just to get to your table. Seriously I had to hold my breath, stink alert with all those bodies confined in tight spaces. So for just under $ 14.00 on a weekend the AYCE buffet offered plenty of choices. Lunch is a little cheaper. What a deal huh? Food is typical of Chinese buffets with a hint of Japanese. Everything is out and up for grabs. Some has been sitting for a while, some is hot and fresh. Lots of Seafood, American food, chinese classics, ect. Fruits, salads, you name it, they have it. They even have a tepan/Mongolian style grill with noodles, veggies and meat. Beef was way too chewy and my chicken needed some spice. My favorite was the icecream. Individual little cups. Oh and the strawberry cake. Tasted like the box kind. Located at Katella and Euclid in Anaheim in a pretty good size shopping center with plenty of parking. Service was great. Our drinks were Refilled promptly, plates removed from the table quickly. But most importantly our check was picked up in 3 seconds as soon as I dropped 220s on the tray. The servers do watch you. I looked up several times and all eyes on me. Tons of cameras too. I guess they don’t want you to sneak anything out. Especially the icecream. An hour after eating I was stuck in the bathroom. Later on the Misters had his turn. Its not terrible here, but Im not going to run here when I want a buffet. Just okay for me. #846

…yeah, but there are some good things… aren’t there? 1. The best reason for coming to Teppanyaki’s Buffet is that children ten and younger – and without adult supervision! – are not allowed within the buffet area.(Well, it’s posted, anyway. Whether or not parents take note or if it’s even enforced, I couldn’t say.) But for this reason alone, I’d be willing to return. Look, youngsters(when left to their own devices) are all over the place – dirty hands in everything! – especially at a wild buffet. If it wasn’t a problem, there wouldn’t be a policy. And it is a problem – enough so, that I rarely consider buffets anyway. Nice touch, Teppanyaki! 2. My first reason leads directly to my next: their ice cream station isn’t self-serve. Yes, you have to lift the freezer’s lid to grab what you’d like, but the ice cream is prepackaged. Self-service ice cream stations(as we’ve come to know them) are generally a mess, unappealing and questionable. But here, the ice cream – and it’s surprisingly very good! – sits neatly and efficiently inside easy-access freezers. I like that! You will too. Another nice touch, Teppanyaki! …so these are my two reasons – only two – for returning. After all, Teppanyaki’s is(like any other, really) just another buffet: the food isn’t necessarily captivating or alluring, not full of flavor or zest. Sure, sure, your aching hunger may suggest otherwise.(I mean, if you’re here, you’ve likely come to fill up, to get the most bang for your buck.) But in the end, when you’ve made your final move toward the exit, your overindulgence may prompt you to question your motives. You’ll say, «Oh, my God, I’m full. And, really, it wasn’t that great, maybe an A-OK.» A fair statement, I’d say.

Did we really have to hold a graduation dinner here? For $ 10, I can see why you would choose this AYCE Buffet. You get what you pay for and thank goodness I didn’t pay a cent. Don’t be fooled by the abundance of items you get to pick from, its a trap! Drawing point being that they have a teppanyaki grill but even with that, I couldn’t push myself to eat more then 3 bites. Same goes for everything there. Orange chicken, tempura, crab legs, crawfish, chicken teriyaki, and even the fried rice only got picked at for a few bites and set aside(don’t worry I didn’t grab a lot of each item). What I’m assuming was thawed and throw in the deep fryer, it all started tasting the same(msg?). With most of the items dripping of oil, fat, or msg and being extremely chewy, I can’t tell you how many times I had to spit something out. Mainly batter and barely any protein, all the fried saucy items were inedible. What mainly stands out when I think of this location is the watery nuclear colored wasabi. In bright Pastel Green, I was scared of getting radiation poison if I got too close. Service was slow to refill out water and pick up our plates. We ended up with a mountain of plates. For a decent sized crowd, they were definitely understaffed and overworking those poor ladies. Positives? Well the ice cream cups and popsicle were nice… In conclusion, if you want to experience the beauty of life, come eat here first, then walk outside and never take anything for granted. Do yourself a favor… take your 10 bucks and grab something from the Taco Bell in the same plaza.

If I could, i would give this place 3.5 stars. We came here for my aunt’s birthday and were able to reserve the party room for about 40 people. They were accommodating when we brought a cake and helped us refrigerate it. We were here on a Saturday at 7:30 pm – peak dinner hour. Service: the restaurant was packed. There were two waitresses assigned to our area. They were prompt in getting our drinks. The plates stacked up pretty quickly so the tables started to overflow a bit. Variety: they had pasta, seafood, fries, chicken, Chinese food, teppanyaki, etc. Most of it was Chinese style food. There is a build-your-own teppanyaki grill in the back where you can get chow mein, fried rice, or vermicelli with a large variety of meats and veggies. My absolute favorite thing was the dessert. They have fresh malasadas, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream cups, popsicles, fruit, jell-o, and pudding. Food quality: honestly, you get what you pay for. The seafood wasn’t fishy. The meat was average quality. The one thing I will say is that the food is NOT salty. Usually, I notice that food is really salty at buffets. Not the case here. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the night. I would come back.
